Husband and I were walking down to get some dinner on our last night. My husband stopped to get a picture of the window. I then noticed it was a shop of Iberian ham. We walked in and asked the guy if we could try some Iberian ham. He asked us to choose a table, so we did. We looked at the menu that had a lot of different choices. We asked him to help us choose some. We started of with lomito and 100 % acorn fed Iberian ham. He also brought us 2 very high quality olive oils and bread. We had tried ham at 4 different places in Barcelona and Madrid. They didn't even come close to these 2. We couldn't believe ham can actually melt in your mouth. My husband doesn't really like Iberian ham, but he was willing to try it. Well, after he tried the 2, he asked to try other items. We also tried sobradada, salchichon and chorizo and again they were absolutely amazing. The shop is a beautiful place with history. We arrived right before they closed, it the owner was willing to stay open until we were really to leave. He also has very good wine that goes well with the ham. It's an absolute must try. read more
