It was time for fuel on this trip and I have no idea about this area so I just checked the signs…read morealong the highway that directed me to fuel. I try to stretch it out and only get fuel when I absolutely need to. This worried my colleague and put her at ease, I found the nearest gas station. Well, when it comes to a Love's, it's more like a truck stop. There's really not much off this side of the highway. Honestly, it's the Love's with an attached McDonald's. There are a few more things on the other side of the highway, but if you want a quick on/off stop this is what you got. The main reason for this stop was obviously fuel. I pulled up to the pump and do the whole pay-at-the-pump motions. However, there was some type of miscommunication going on at the pumps. I have the app/loyalty program. I rarely come to a Love's, they are few and far in between. I go through the motion's, follow the prompts on the screen, but it's just not working. I wasn't the only one, the person at the pump behind me was having the same issue, and the person right next to me was as well. It wouldn't take my scan or number for the loyalty portion. I kind of gave up because it's not something that was going to make or break this transaction. I scan my card to start pumping and this is where things started moving. After you scan to pay is when it wants to take your loyalty card. Confusing to say the least. I believe a lot of the people went inside to have this corrected. I have no idea whether it was posted anywhere on the pumps how to do this whole process. But if it wasn't, they need to do something. Ran inside after pumping to get some water and head out.

I am going to give this stop a 5 star for service, selection, location, and friendliness. I have…read morebeen here a handful of times and have Déjà vu each time. Part of the issue is that it's a Love's Travel Stop but the location and getting in and out always hits home that it is not my first time here. It's a nice feeling somehow (guess from all the driving to or back from wherever to Ohio. Recommend stopping in for a break, some as, or some snacks if you are in the area. I figured this would be the last Sheetz location I was see for a few weeks and I would make the…read morebest of it. Initial stop here was to fuel up my vehicle for the final leg of my journey home. Also, it didn't hurt to make a pitstop inside. Gas prices were on average with other nearby stations in the area. Paying at pump was where to be. Inside I made quick usage of the facilities and wanted to grab myself some drinks for the remainder of the trip. I would have used the self checkouts but I needed items from behind the counter. The line went smoothly and the employees were pleasant to deal with. Overall a decent stop at a busy location.

Easy access from highway...not like other exits where you can't even spot the businesses from the…read moresigns. Enough bays to fill many tanks. Restrooms were clean and beer was plentiful. What more could you ask? Cheaper prices I guess, but if your goal is heading down the highway lookin for adventure, this is your place.

He shouted, by way of an explanation. Honestly, this is probably only the third time I've stopped at this particular Shell, but I've never been met with a friendly face, or even a civil attitude.
