This was my first time ever seeing or visiting a Buc-ee's, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! They have something for almost everyone, and the sheer size and variety of the place were quite a sight to see. The outside was packed with an impressive number of gas pumps (almost all of which were fully occupied when we visited), with freezers full of bags of ice lining the storefront and even branching onto the side. Once inside, there was so much to look through: home goods, jerky, candy, drinks, instant coffee stations, ICEE machines, fresh fruit, freshly made fudge, sandwiches and wraps, nuts, baked goods, Buc-ee's branded products, gift wares, Texas souvenirs, toys, and so much more. I had a hard time deciding what to get with so many options! We ended up leaving with some candy, an ICEE, gift shop items, Buc-ee's branded products and merchandise, and their chopped brisket sandwich. And honestly, the chopped brisket sandwich was much better than I expected from a gas station. The brisket was tender, juicy, and fairly flavourful. I went in with tentative expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it actually was! The bathrooms were impressively large, clean, and surprisingly private, which is always a huge plus during a road trip. The store itself was fairly large, clean, well lit, and well stocked, with plenty of staff around if you needed help. It was genuinely fun to walk around and explore everything. This location also had EV charging stations. A few Buc-ee's rules to note: No transports and large commercial vehicles. No leaving your vehicle for extended periods (although I didn't see an exact time limit posted). No napping in your vehicle in the parking lot. (List is not comprehensive) For food hours, breakfast runs from 4:00 AM to 10:30 AM, with the transition to lunch taking place from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Their BBQ starts at 11:30 AM and runs until after midnight. It was a little crowded when we visited around 9PM on a Sunday, but I can understand why, and I can only imagine how busy it must get during prime travel hours. Overall, my first Buc-ee's experience was a lot of fun! We spent around an hour and a half perusing everything there. There was so much to see, eat, and explore, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I highly recommend making a pit stop at Buc-ee's if you get the chance!

And super practical electronic replacement bar to get your informed whether it's a gps system or headset system to keep you working on the road. 3 stars for the women's bathroom as far as cleaning and lack of bathroom supplies recommended for customer. Masks required, social distancing enforced, and staff is pleasant keeping busy. Just down the road in Wharton is a new Bucky's. But if you need a new GPS and head gear, this might be your stop. Also if you are riding along in an 18 wheeler, this hub might be more helpful and tailored for your essentials. Again, worth a stop or shop. All the drinks and snacks you could possibly ever want on the road, but more importantly, at home. The beaver is branded on everything and they have so much more than this, I'm just scratching the surface. BBQ Brisket or BBQ pulled-pork sandwiches made fresh and lined up and ready to grab - one of the best things is that since they are always making them and people are always getting them, they're fresh and ready to grab. No waiting. Just grab one and go. And since they're always making them, they haven't been sitting around like some other places. All Buc-ee's are slightly different configurations. Some are bigger than others. Always great though! Hot fudge, tacos, breakfast options, coffee options with cold cream ready to mix in, ... I always get the roasted glazed pecans and beaver nuggets. As I drive Uber, I'm always going by one of the Buc-ees around Houston, Dallas, or on a he way to Austin or Galveston. I always make a point to stop and fill up from one of the hundreds of pumps there, use the toilet, and grab some beaver nuggets or popcorn to bring home and surprise the family. There are also, occasionally, what I call "baby Buc-ees" that are much much smaller but still worth dropping in and using. In short, I can't recommend this place enough. If you don't know Buc-ee's, you're missing out!
