Hands down some of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen on a road trip and after traveling I-95 South and I-85 North, I feel qualified to judge My only tiny complaint: no regular milk for the coffee! They had half-and-half and flavored creamers, but sometimes you just want plain old milk in your coffee. Maybe that's a Southern rest-stop thing? I don't know, but I was looking forward to it Either way, this was an excellent stop. Clean, bright, friendly, easy in and out, and somewhere I'd absolutely recommend whether you're traveling with the whole family or road-tripping solo.

We ducked into the restrooms for a quick stop and they were in great shape, the kind of clean that makes the whole visit feel easier. Mrs. K and I built our large coffees just the way we like them, medium roast ground to order with a touch of cream and a few ice cubes, and when I went to pay the clerk smiled and told me it was free which was fabulous and added a little spark to the morning. We didn't need fuel or snacks this time around but the price on the pumps was competitive and the coolers were full if we had needed anything, another solid Love's stop along the way. However since I put the ice in my bag that I brought in, when I got to registered they charged me $2. I asked why and they said because I put ice in bag and that qualified for two cups??? I asked for info about store owner and they refused to provide. Then the so-called manager came out and was rude, stating, "I am so this on camera", pointing to ceiling, "it says Ice .89". I tried to show the photo that ice cup is the charge, not the ice. I only used one cup. Not only the fact of not being kind, but they were out right rude. Very disappointing.
