If you're looking for a place that truly cares about your vision, your look, and your experience --…read moreEyeworks Optical in Maryland is it! The service I received from Mr. David Richards, the manager and owner, was absolutely first-class. He created a customized experience that was unique to me -- from helping me explore hundreds of frame options to introducing me to independent eyewear designers who personally shared the stories behind their lines. I was especially impressed by the diversity of brands, including minority- and women-owned collections, which made the experience even more special. I even got a custom clip-on sun cover for my glasses and chose progressive lenses that are both functional and stylish. Add in great parking, a welcoming environment, and customer service that makes you feel like a VIP -- and you've got a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend Eyeworks Optical for anyone looking for quality, care, and style all in one place!

When it comes to eyewear, I should admit that I am one of those very picky customers (and David was so patient with me as I tried on many frames). I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but I had already looked at two other optical stores before finding exactly what I wanted at EyeWorks. But beyond the look of my frames, they are expertly cut lenses. In the past, I've made the mistake of trying discount shops, including Warby Parker, Costco, and Kaiser Vision. Frankly, they didn't get my lenses cut properly, and my vision was compromised. Both pairs of glasses I got from David are stylish, and I see better than ever. The other team members, including Alan and Julie, were also great to work with. You can tell that I am a huge fan of this shop, having just discovered it last month. If you need new glasses or sunglasses, this is the place to go!

Eye Works - I am a happy customer, and I met another woman who was picking up her glasses, and she also looked great in her frames.

I called to make a new appointment for my eye check but the front desk lady told me I have a balance due of $120 from years ago. Firstly, I paid the copayment and EVERYTHING they ASKED me to pay before I left the office. Secondly, I didn't receive any bills or invoices after my visit!!! I understand it could be something going wrong but the front desk lady repetitively emphasized in a weird tone "l'm not trying to accuse you" "you didn't contact us so this is what happening". Trying to push it back as making it a customer's fault?! I don't understand how I would know and understand the balance due if I never received anything after my visit. How could it be a customer's responsibility/must-do thing to call a doctor's office after every visit to check the balance due (especially I already paid what the office asked me to pay before I left)? If in this logic, does it mean I must initiatively and proactively call to all the doctors to confirm if there're any due balances after all my visits, otherwise it'll be my fault?! After back and forth on who said what, I tried to pull the conversation back to the main point - why is there a balance due in your system that I'm totally unaware of? I don't understand If something really went wrong, should the representative be patiently explaining the situation to the customer firstly and then discuss in details? I'm very upsetting about the way of communication that Dr Hollier's front desk used. I feel very offended. I hope the doctor's office could see my review and conduct corresponding customer service trainings to improve customer's visit experience.

Excellent eye exam from a wonderful professional optometrist!!…read more I highly recommend going to Hollier Eyecare!! I was seen by another professional optometrist last year in Rockville for the first time. A friend recommended them. The glasses I ordered were extremely expensive due to the low volume of glasses that I found to fit me. The style I selected and the lenses I required were to provide near and far vision correction. After waiting three weeks, I received the glasses with an incorrect prescription. I said I was very disappointed in their service and said thank you, but I would go elsewhere. I was then told that was not possible without a penalty fee for the services they provided. I said I would seek legal assistance and they suddenly changed their mind. My money was refunded. How unprofessional. I don't think they are in business any longer.

However, I am happy with my experience at Montgomery Village Eye Center. The office staff are reasonably cordial and seem efficient. They emailed me the patient history form to update, and the form *kept* my info from last time, so reading through the form and updating it was a quick process. Aaaand when I arrived they did not inform me that "they didn't receive" the form, which is something one too often encounters, whereupon you're handed a medical history form with three or more pages worth of data you must now enter by hand. At my mid-morning appointment I waited less than five minutes before the technician took me into the exam room. The doctor appeared within a few minutes -- no long wait. Dr. Rubin is knowledgeable and courteous, and always answers my questions without any trace of condescension or attitude, making for a pleasantly low-stress visit. Thank you! After several visits to this location I conclude that the practice is well-run, and staff are mindful not to waste the patient's time. If you're looking for capable office staff with an efficient process, and a competent doctor, you've found the place. Recommended.
