The design is quirky and the range is fantastic. So many incredible frames and styles. The staff are tremendously friendly and know style and fashion, also they're passionate about what they know which was incredibly refreshing. Maybe I'm being too blasé about handing out the 5-star rating but you just really don't get a start to finish experience like this often. I emailed them first asking to order in a specific set of frames. The owner Jo responded saying she'll get them in at no charge and put them aside for me. Owner there and checked them out, got another eye test with the in-house optometrist, then sorted out prescriptions, and done. No fuss, exemplary service, and a really neat place to just see how rad you look in some fun glasses whilst you check the store out. PS. I had to really restrain myself to only put two eye references in this review.

Not only that, I now have the best glasses prescription I've ever had. I had no idea the world was supposed to be so crisp! They also have the means to test for glaucoma in more than one way for the surest results, cataracts, macular degeneration and more! I had the glaucoma, macular degeneration and peripheral vision test since it runs in my family and was emailed the results with very cool photos of my eye. After experiencing the franchise optometrists first, I won't go to anyone else except here now. We commute from the eastern suburbs just to see George. He should be everyone's optometrist. Child friendly and bulk bills where possible.

Recently, I was referred to the specialist doctors at Armadale Eye Clinic, ostensibly for advice and or treatment for a troublesome eye complaint, an ongoing problem that dates back several years, it was my left eye that had failed to heal after a lens removal. When I visited the Clinic on that first occasion, I was in considerable pain and a little apprehensive toward finding relief. I am sure the pain I was experiencing was most likely to have occurred because of an infection after the original surgery and not related to any earlier medical misadventure. The bottom line was, there seemed no end to my dilemma, I was experiencing dry eyes, constantly requiring lubricant to ease the pain! Another side effect I had developed was a 'Droopy Eyelid Syndrome' and I want to suggest, that should this be something you are experiencing, I can recommend you place your trust in a surgeon I had the good fortune to find at Armadale Eye Clinic. Dr Brent Gaskin was able to remove the unwanted folds to both eye lids without the slightest concern. I cannot believe how much more comfortable it is after having had this surgery done! The reason I wanted to post this review is twofold, I want to provide a reassurance to others facing eye problems, to have every confidence in the Armadale Eye Clinic for treatment and secondly, to indicate to any first-time patients to expect and trust in the care they will receive at this Clinic. I know and can say from my own experience, the doctors and support staff are really most caring and diligent. You will find they are compassionate, experienced and above all honest. In closing may I say a special thank you, to Dr Anton van Heerden, he and all the staff were prepared to go to any length to help me, he was simply amazing. Thank you all so very much.
