I stopped in on a Saturday, expecting a long wait. It wasn't bad. They take your name when you first arrive, which is nice because by the time your name is called, you've had enough time to select your frames. Lynette was so nice. She even helped me pick out a "free pair" since I bought one, that I wasn't aware I was getting. Basic frames and lenses, but they were nice looking. This is a great place for value glasses. this company refuses to get a manager since oct 2025. they don't care about the clients and are all about making a profit. the workers make the worst hourly pay and are not educated about optical with no experience what so ever. the value is not worth the cost. I suggest checking out zenni optical online where you would get way better products for a fraction of the price. the selection is mid and overly priced. thanks for taking the time to read my review. I have a pair of JF Rey glasses that broke. No one was able to repair them and I was told I needed to just buy a new frame. This frame was fairly expensive and unique so I was hoping to avoid replacing it . I had some free time xmas eve and thought I'd stop in to try one last place. They took them in and called me back later stating they wouldn't be able to repair them because of the custom design. I went to pick them up a couple days later to find they found a solution and repaired them to like new condition. It says a lot when someone takes pride in their work. The wait time is beyond ridiculous. I had another appointment afterwards that I had to cancel because for some reason they only have two people in to measure the size of glasses. This wait time is unacceptable. They even said that Saturdays are their busiest days yet they can't get the people to work on that day. Unbelievable and such a horrible establishment. read more

Rude employee! While looking for frames, I would pull the trays out from underneath so that I could look at them without having to bend up and down too much. I was in a car accident in Nov of last year and have had back pain since. A young man (didn't get his name, but he was tall and chubby with light hair) scolded me for taking the trays out. He said the trays are very delicate and that I'm not to touch them. Then he took the tray out of my hand and put it back and walked away. Had it not been for the fact that I was running out of time that day I would have walked out and not returned. This was the location on Oneida. I should have gotten his name. read more

I purchased a pair of multifocal lenses in a pair of ver expensive frames. They were over $700 after the huge discount.They never seemed quite right but I thought I had to get used to them. Finally I went and got a new eye exam from my eye doctor and she finally examined the lenses and saw that there was an internal defect in them made during manufacturing. I went back to Eye mart Express where a snotty younger woman waved me off. Saying that it was from looking in a hot oven and the steam destroyed the lenses. After several times saying the Dr told me it was an internal defect, A manager finally came out and said that my Dr was correct and they replaced the lenses. Needless to say those are the last pair of glasses I will purchase here! read more

I got my glasses at this eye mart express last November. They were scratched so I ordered a new pair under warranty. They came in about 8 days later (the estimate was 2 weeks). I went to pick them up. They were very busy. Usually the employees will ask how they can help you and put your name on a list. After standing around for nearly 20 minutes with no acknowledgement I asked one of the employees to please put me name down. She was clearly annoyed and curt but added my name to the computer list. Approximately one hour later, after noticing that five people who came in after me were being called I brought it to their attention. A different employee, Lynette, looked at the list and said my name was not on it. She said as soon as she was done helping the other two people she would help me. I was very frustrated, asked for the other woman's name so I could call in a complaint to customer service and was told she is the manager! I called customer service and made a complaint and was told I would receive a call from the GM (still waiting). I want to say that every other time I've been to this location the experience has always been good. The employees are polite, quick to help you, and very knowledgeable. A big shout out to Lynette who went above and beyond to help me, even coming out to my car. The manager never said a word! Never offered to help or apologize. She should not be the manager, Lynette should! She's very helpful, polite, accommodating, a problem solver, and was able to deescalate my displeasure. read more

We have not used anyone else for eyeglasses since we came across Eyemart Express 7 or 8 years ago, even though it's a 50 mile drive from Door County. Great selection, good prices, they can usually make the glasses while you wait -- and there are a bunch of good restaurants in the areas -- Olive Garden is next door. I've mailed broken glasses in for replacement and received new ones in a day or two -- FedEx -- paid by credit card over the phone. Very convenient and we've always been met by a very courteous and helpful staff. read more

My whole visit there took 2 hours which is ridiculous! Then I got my glasses same day 1 hr later and was so excited! The lenses ARE THE WORST QUALITY lenses I have EVER looked through!!! I am extremely unhappy!!!!! I will be calling on Monday and they better live up to the "Our Promise to You, if you ever need help with your glasses, just let us know and we will always make it right." Promise they have right on all the paperwork! I would gladly see the doctor again for my exam. He was very pleasant and listened to my concerns. The frames are nice looking, a little cheap in quality but that is to be expected when you pay so little for them. I will never ever get my lenses from them again!!!! I can't believe they actually let people walk around in glasses that don't actually help them see to their best ability!!! So here I am with 4 brand new pairs of glasses and $200.00 wasted and I'm wearing my three year old pair that are so scratched all because I can see better out of these then then the one I got from Eyemart Express!! The customer service was terrible. I went in with the intent of buying glasses, since they were having a sale. I was standing there ready to go with four frames selected and it took 30 minutes for a single employee to say hi to me or even look at me. I get they were busy, but no one said, "hi" or told me they would be with me shortly. I ended I getting helped and purchased the glasses because they were on sale, but when my fiancé and I went to go pick them up I received the same service as the first time I went. No one acknowledged we were there. We ended up having to leave without my glasses because they took so long..... they were NOT busy this time. I had to make an extra trip back to pick up the glasses and once again I wasn't acknowledged for a few minutes.... I was one of three customers. I would NEVER recommend or shop here ever again. I would rather pay $400 for frames at LensCrafters, where I usually go, because they ALWAYS greet me and have EXCELLENT customer service. read more

Never again. The eye exam was timely and professional. The customer service getting my glasses was poor. Rude unprofessional and slow. I will never shop at Eyemart again. I got my hair cut while waiting for my glasses to be made and the funny thing my stylist had the same experience. I wil never go to Dr. Elm again for an eye exam. He was rude and hurried. He became downright irritated when I could not give him immediate answers to which view was better/worse. He had no time for questions. He did not explain anything he was doing or what was being tested in each phase of the testing. I felt I was treated very poorly by Dr. Elm. Dr. Elm, my eye glasses are going to cost me upwards of $300 and I want to get it right. This is a lot of money for me and I did not deserve being treated with such disdain. Yes, I asked a few questions and I deserved some answers. You are getting paid to do this. When the exam was ended you simply dashed out the door and said "follow me." I did not even have time to grab my jacket and purse and you were long gone. You then did not say one more single word to me. I was not told we were done, I was not told what to do next or who to see or what to say. You spent the next 5 minutes talking to the woman at the counter back in the hallway about another issue unrelated to me. After she was done talking to you she had others to deal with, then she looked at me and said, "what can I do for you." I said to her, I was just in for my eye exam and I think he left papers up here. Not a very pleasant experience. Dr. Elm, if you are hurried, tired, and frustrated, maybe you should not be dealing with the public because you surely took your bad day out on me! read more

I went to this eyemart starting in February. Three trips later, to fix the prescription and then the lenses, I decided to return the glasses because they just weren't getting them quite right. The customer service was okay, but there is one thing they don't ever mention up front: if you ever decide to return your glasses, they "red flad" you in their system and you are never allowed to get glasses at that location ever again. This Eyemart Express has the optometrist on one side and Eyemart employees on the other side of the SAME space. They do not work well together! BOTH sides had very rude employees. They were not only rude to customers, but also to each other. When my eye exam was finished and I took a couple steps to pick out glasses, I was nearly tackled by the receptionist to pay my $10 copay first. She also pressured me into making a decision about whether I wanted my insurance to be billed for contacts or glasses (I was purchasing both). I explained that it would depend on how expensive my frames would be & what my insurance would cover better. She could only tell me coverage for contacts and I had to work with the Eyemart employee for the glasses. Ugh! She allowed me to go pick out my glasses. After I chose some inexpensive frames, the Eyemart employee (Christine) was the rudest of all. She told me that she couldn't tell me what my insurance would cover until she submitted it. REALLY? I had my benefit coverage info that she looked at. EVERY other optometrist I've been to have professional staff who figure out the better deal (my insurance covers only glasses or contacts once each year). I almost walked out to buy my glasses elsewhere and I will be re-scheduling the other 4 family members who need exams & glasses somewhere else! read more

She did not explain anything to me about lenses, insurance or returns. they never asked me about any protection plan or return policy. it seemed to me that they just wanted me to get in an get out. I can't even use the prescription they gave me anywhere else because they didn't specify anything on it of whats what. When i came back to just ask about getting scratches taken out they looked me up and since they never asked me if i wanted a protection plan they just said no right away. I went there in January 2017 with my prescription and ordered a pair of glasses for $324 dollars. Love the frames which were $79.99, however the lenses were not positioned correctly in the lenses. They attempted to bend and manipulate the lenses and nose pads to no avail. Bottom line, the lenses were not positioned correctly. The bifocals were too high in the lenses. Do not recommend this place. read more

This eyemart in Ashwaubenon was good for my hubby a few years ago but for me (Oct/2016) not so much. The store side was good the women helpful and pleasant. The Dr. side not so much, I felt like they did not have time for me and any question I asked to try to get enough info to understand what the difference between distances and prescriptions was too many questions for the male Dr. on duty. He seemed curt and annoyed that he had to do the job. Kinda felt it was more like a (welcome to....now get your s?$& and get out!) thing, oh and by the way give me almost $60.00 for five minutes of making you feel like an annoyance. read more

I made four 70 mile round trips to the Ashwaubenon Eyemart. The exam side was easy, Getting glasses? Nightmare. My old glasses were purchased there a long time ago but are not right anymore and very scratched. I finally have Ins. to cover new ones. The first lenses were cloudy with thousands of micro scratches. I didn't notice until I returned home because I wouldn't drive 35 miles with new glasses. took em back and was told I couldn't get the replacement lenses until the next day. (so much for one hour). I went back the next day (trip 3) and they said they weren't ready as they has breakage overnight. I got upset and someone shot out of an office door and said they would mail them that day. A week later no glasses. When I inquired they informed me they were there ready to be picked up. I again got upset so they again said they would mail them. When they came the bifocal lines were right in the middle of my line of sight. So I was called and told to ask specifically for Scott. When I was finally able to make the long drive again, (4th trip) I was ignored by a woman (who wasn't busy) when I was asking for this Scott. On the 4th try she finally looked at me and said he would be in later. I waited the time she told me by going to a mall nearby. When I returned I used their impersonal sign in and sat and waited for an extremely long time and he never showed and no one acknowledged me. I am sure they just wanted rid of me. So I will now be stuck with my scratched, ill fitting, wrong prescription glasses for another 10 months while waiting for the time my ins. will pay again. read more
