This enclosed shopping center is located right off of the square and at the beginning of the main shopping area. It has a Dunne's department store, Penneys store, a Costa coffee shop on the lower level, and a variety of other stores. Penneys is the same as Primark so the prices were a good value. Dan is a little more expensive. The mall was easy to navigate. It had several different entrances. The sales people were helpful. The mall also has part of the original wall with two of the towers that surrounded Dublin. Signs on the wall give a lot of information about Dublin's history. It's over seven years since I reviewed this city centre place. I disliked it then. I dislike it now. It's full of the usual suspects in retail and it's boring. Not even a decent food court. I didn't buy anything. I didn't want to buy anything. I walked through it and out. Took me a few minutes. I'd be quicker had I been younger. Last time I was there they charged customers just to use their restrooms. I didn't even bother to check if they still did. Taking the p when yiu need a p. Capitalism and money grabbing at its worst. Cool shopping center with a nice historical wall on the inside. Lots of shops and places to eat. Located in the heart of Galway.

Really good variety for a shopping mall set up. Two levels offering a variety of stores. There's a grocery store on ground level that's quite large. Really easy to get in and out of. I also like that you can cut through here to get to the Latin Quarter. read more
