Yayyy! I finally found my hair stylist! My hairstyle is deceptively hard to cut. It really looks like a simple cut. It's not. It's straight across at the nape but I have a lot of fine, very straight hair. Because of of this any wrong snip really shows. I've been to 3 well reviewed hair dressers in the area and it's always come out kinda hacked looking, to be honest. Well, Adrineh got it PERFECT. When I say perfect, I mean perfect. She really takes her time, checks and double checks that it's good. She's a perfectionist, really. And when it comes to my hair that's what I want. Every time I leave there I am happy with how I look, which cannot be said for many other salons. Carmen the owner has been there 25 years now, and her experience shows; she always knows what looks good and will make sure you are happy with how you look. I always feel comfortable sitting in her chair because after several visits here, I trust that she knows what she's doing. I've been coming here ever since 2008. Karmen is the best!! Today I went in for a quick trim for my split ends and Karmen wasn't working so I settled for another person. I just asked her to cut my split ends because they were damaged and it took about 10 minutes. After she finished and it was time for me to pay it came out to $45. I don't know if the lady was lying to me but I have never ever paid $45 here, especially for a little trim. I love this place but that was a rip off! May I add she left a couple pieces of my hair too long so now my hair is uneven. When I do come back I will never go to anyone else but Karmen!! read more

I moved to Glendale about a year and half ago, and have since moved a bit further away but I still always come back to Ez Cut for their fantastic service. Karmen is truly skilled and is such a pleasant, nice person. I have short hair but I like a kind of specific cut with the back short and tapered up to longer in the front--not only does Karmen always nail it, she always remembers who I am even if it's been a few months since my last visit and she can replicate the cut without more than a glance at a reference photo. I'm consistently impressed with her skill and I always leave with a great haircut. The pricing is very reasonable and I'm usually in and out in 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Yelp brought me to EZ Cut and I was really disappointed to say the least (grr Yelp I trusted you!! *shakes fist) I went in to cut off an inch or two and have my hair layered. Either the hairdresser did not really care or she did not know how to layer b/c my hair is now a random, choppy mess ): No shampoo and the entire haircut took maybe 10 min..literally she took my hair and cut straight, then took the front part of my hair and started cutting diagonally...I kept thinking okay she knows what she's doing..she's going to start layering now...but alas no...after a few minutes she began blow drying...STILL i held onto hope that she would bring out another pair of scissors (typically used to layer) and for the love of God just start layering my hair!!!!!! Now there are clumps of my top hair that are shorter and the very bottom of my hair is DEFINITELY not layered - just a straight cut which looks very awkward with the rest of the strangely layered- i mean diagonal- hair. I paid about 30 for the haircut, including tip, which isn't THAT cheap. Yes, it's pretty cheap but I've gotten my haircut at L.A. for that price and they took at least an hour to cut my hair (w/ shampoo + blowdry) Overall, not the worst haircut I've gotten but probably second worst. I'll probably have to go get it fixed elsewhere...should've just saved the money and gone somewhere else in the first place! read more

Ez Cuts definitely lives up to its name. Even though I call and ask how busy it is before I go, there is hardly a long wait. For the ladies, Karmen knows how to cut hair. She fixed a terrible hair cut by a supposedly 5 star $$$ salon in La Crescenta (proves that just because the haircut is expensive doesn't mean it's a good one). She cut it with nice, even layers that were flattering for my face shape. The result was fantastic and she said it's a good style that will grow out nicely, which is great because it has saved me money. Women's haircut are $25 + tip. For the gentlemen, my boyfriend goes here all the time and I am never disappointed with his hair cut! One time he showed Karmen a picture of his desired hair style and she got it on point.
