Multiple times, no one answered their phone. Not even an answering service. Christie Bush was the paralegal that was suppose to deal with my case. She never answered telephone messages, was constantly "out of the office", never answered email. The receptionist, whose name I do not know, was breathtakingly rude, making nasty comments in response to my complaints about the difficulty of reaching anyone, or having my calls and emails returned. I finally spoke to the owner, Bryan Irons, when I called to fire the firm. He was outraged they were losing my case, and put me on a conference call with Christie. He admitted he had never heard of me or my case, that it was a good one, and that he didn't want to lose it. He apologised repeatedly, and stated there would not be a bill or a lien on any judgement as I had a new attorney. Guess what? There is a lien against my case. For doing nothing. They want a third of whatever my current attorney receives for handling my case. My current attorney was also told by Mr. Irons that there would be no lien. He didn't even have the professional courtesy to call my attorney and let him know. My current attorney was notified by the insurance company. I have never had such an unpleasant experience. Please think very carefully before having anything to do with this firm. they will not be truthful with you, and you will have no recourse. They have no qualms about taking unearned money away from an injured person, or their hard-working attorney.

I was sued in 2021 and filed counterclaims that same year. My counterclaims were later dismissed without what I believed was clear written confirmation or authorization from me approving that action, which I felt placed my case at significant risk. When I later asked about refiling, I was told to "wait until October," but I did not receive a detailed explanation regarding the significance of that timeline or the potential consequences of waiting. After seeking a second opinion, the new attorney I hired advised me that I had approximately one year from the November dismissal date to refile the case in order to preserve the deposition testimony and evidence previously obtained by my original attorney, who could no longer represent me due to a career change. My understanding was that missing that deadline could have limited the use of previously gathered evidence and negatively affected my ability to defend my case. Fortunately, I retained another attorney who successfully handled the matter and ultimately helped me obtain a dismissal with prejudice and a default judgment on the opposing party's counterclaims, despite previously being told the case would be difficult or unlikely to succeed. Based on my personal experience, I would not hire Brian again. I felt the representation resulted in unnecessary time, expense, and stress, and I believe my case was placed at unnecessary risk.

But before that, he falsely led me on a fishing expedition over some issue that was completely irrelevant to my case...maybe to add billable hours...I'm not sure. He turns on the drop of a dime. Would not trust him as he is dishonest and did not care for his winey, dramatic demeanor at the end. Other attorneys have mentioned how annoyed they were when having to deal with him.
