I am very picky about where I send my film rolls to (I normally ship them all the way to California for developing services), but F/32 Photo is seriously outstanding. I sent in 5 rolls of color film, which at best I was expecting for 2 to turn out. All 5 turned out! I was floored. I let them know ahead of time that I had overexposed 3 rolls and idk what they did but it worked like a charm. I specifically chose this place to get my disposable camera developed because it says on their website the turn around time is 24-72 hours. I dropped my camera off noon Monday January 6th and didn't get the pictures back until the next Monday January 13th... I understand they were closed for snow Friday and Saturday but still. If their website listed 24-72 hours, shouldn't I have gotten them back on Thursday at the latest? There's no shade to the employees here it's just I wouldn't have chosen a place 20 minutes away from my apartment when I could have taken it to Walgreens for cheaper in the same or less amount of time. read more

I have an older DSLR camera that needed to be cleaned after many years of use. I didn't know where to go for this service. I called f/32 Photo and spoke with a very nice person who told me they cleaned cameras for $60 and did not send them out of town. Perfect. I took my camera there today and had to leave it because I had another appointment. I was back before closing to get the camera. I was beautiful and clean. I was told it was pretty dirty (which I knew), but there was nothing wrong with it. Yea! The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I had to pay the $60 charge upfront. That makes me very uncomfortable, and I don't like to do it, but I felt I had no choice. If this comes back to bite me in the a--, I will have to change my review. read more

Being in the creative industry, it's always great to have a list of vendors, and quality ones at that. I've used f/32 for a few projects, including a big First Friday show. They're quick, cost-effective, and have the utmost quality in all of their products. That First Friday showcase was all black and white photography, and every printed piece looked clear, and color matched perfectly. More recently I have a full color illustration printed, and it turned out immaculate as well. They also bring in experts to help out in other facets. Such as sensor cleanings. It's great that there is still a local shop that one can get camera equipment and service, supplies, and printed materials. read more

There are very few places left that still deal with real film. Although f/32 is mostly into digital, they are still very knowledgeable about film and have have a great selection of gear. read more

Beautiful store with fresh products! I like their photo station better than Walmart. Love that they had Ilford 400 film.

Excellent in every way! Needed an international passport photo and they quickly understood the required size and nature of the photo. Very customer oriented and professional. Highly recommend for passports and camera/photo needs. They have a keen sense of humor too! read more

This is the formerly known Express Photo Center that was at 7240 Kingston Pike STE 120. The business apparently changed their name and moved to this location six months ago but did not update their public information nor do they broadcast it and I believe they still answer the phone as Express. I was on time to be at a professional head shot session at the former location and when I called to figure out they moved I really was not greeted all that professionally given they knew I would be late. I will say if you have a friend with a nice camera you will likely walk away with a better final product and the experience was terrible. I was pretty rushed through the event, the photographer did not take the time to explain any part of the shoot or work with me to get pleasing pictures. While I did ask to re-shoot a few, and they did , I had zero professional opinion on top of no guidance. Apparently my employer sends all of our employees there because they are familiar with our paperwork, releases and are happy with their work which certainly is not the case. None of the photos are touched up, cropped or shot to size of what my employer requires which I did not find out until well after the shoot. I would not waste your time, you are better off throwing your money out of a moving car and taking a picture on your iPhone while you are at it....... read more

April & her team made it possible for me to shoot a wedding that I was traveling too & had some major car difficulties arise. Not only did they go above & beyond by staying at the store after-hours so I could pick up the Canon equipment I rented, but they had amazinggggg customer service! It makes me sad to post this; I have been coming here for years to print headshots whenever I am in TN. In this particular case I had a very important last minute meeting confirmed over the weekend in Atlanta and needed 3 headshots printed off and needed them for same day pickup. I called first thing in the morning to make sure I would be able to pick them up the same day- to which I was told that yes I would. After several hours I called again, was told the same thing but that they were not ready yet. Finally, close to closing time, I called again and was told they would be ready but they weren't yet, so I drove by. I would have already left town by the time they opened the next morning and had explained that I needed them by closing today. When I arrived they hadn't begun printing my headshots and the employee interacting with me seemed upset with me that I had shown up at all. They said they were having issues with their printer. I asked if they knew this before I called the most recent time and they said yes, however I wasn't told of the issue. While waiting I asked to add another PDF resume printed on simple computer paper and the employee, who had already been acting irritated, then audibly sighed at me and walked off. She then printed my additions on card stock, which cost more, offered no apology for the delay or her treatment of me, and had someone else hand them to me which seemed a bit passive aggressive since she walked past me to hand them to someone else. I paid, and then spoke to the manager who had recognized me from my various other times coming in. He told me that the owner would be in touch with me. This was now 4 days ago. I am very disappointed, and I will not be returning to this place, nor will I recommend it to anyone in the local acting community or any other peers seeking advice on equipment or print jobs again. Might not be a good thing to roll your eyes at your customers.......Just saying. Also would have nice if they had new cameras and new camera lenses on sale. read more
