Everyone says that a DJ can MAKE OR BREAK a wedding. This is absolutely true. Jeff Atlas was the IT FACTOR at our wedding. We were referred to Jeff by our venue (Kelly's Wedding Garden in Santa Clarita) when our original DJ bailed 2 weeks before our date. Jeff was on the phone with us THAT DAY, letting us know that everything was going to be ok. He took time during our initial call to ask all the right questions and really get to know us and what vibe we wanted at our wedding. Even though we were having to change DJs 2 weeks out, we really felt ok... We could already tell we were in great hands with Jeff. He worked with us on a timeline and he shared his expertise on what would work well for our guests (mix of young and old, introverts and extroverts.) From music choices to activities to a special tribute to my mom, he truly was our guide. On our wedding day, we were AN HOUR late to the venue for pictures We only had 15 minutes so we had to move them post-ceremony on an already tight timeline. Jeff was the first one to come up to me and tell me everything was going to be ok. He said he would adjust the timeline accordingly. He said "Don't worry about it, I'll let you know when things are about to happen. You enjoy your day" So... I didn't worry. I let him take the wheel and it was AMAZING. He kept everything together so well that our guests didn't even know that anything had gone wrong. I don't know how he did it but time felt elastic. He fit EVERYTHING in without it feeling rushed. The pacing was perfect. Everyone danced, everyone stayed engaged, and here is the true sign of a great DJ: everyone STAYED UNTIL THE END. Jeff treats the dj process as if it's HIS wedding. He acted like a diva and everything had to be his way, with zero room for discussion, let alone compromise. His contract is lengthy and full of one-sided clauses that favor only him and his business. After weeks of trying to work with him and to be reasonable, he eventually backed out without trying to compromise on his strict terms. What a horrible experience. read more

My wife and I hired Jeff at F & J for our wedding, and we literally could not have been happier with any other DJ. Right from the very first phone call, Jeff was courteous, enthusiastic, and demonstrated that he really cares about making his clients' ceremony the absolute best it can be. Throughout the entire process, Jeff not only made recommendations based on what we were looking for, but also listened to what my wife and I wanted out of the day, and did everything in his power to make it happen. Additionally, we feel very grateful to Jeff for accepting the job and being willing to DJ our wedding. My wife and I had actually booked another DJ through a recommendation from a friend 8 months before the wedding day, and not two weeks before the wedding, we got a one sentence e-mail from the DJ cancelling with no explanation why, other than that he wouldn't be able to do it. Our wedding venue coordinator actually referred us, and despite the short notice, Jeff took the job, and immediately went into hustle mode making sure he had all of the information and songs that we wanted available in his library. He went to great lengths to make us feel good about the day, in spite of the cancellation, and when all was said and done, we feel very fortunate to have had the other DJ cancelled, as the wedding would not have been what it was without Jeff. In addition to being a great person and a great DJ, Jeff really helps make sure that everything is running on track throughout the wedding. When we would run long with certain events, Jeff would come and let us know that we should start wrapping matters up so we could move along to the next part of the reception. Given how quickly everything moves during the big day, my wife and I both felt very fortunate to have his guidance and support throughout the entire ceremony. As should be apparent by now, my wife and I can't recommend Jeff and F & J Entertainment enough. Nearly all of our guests in attendance raved about how Jeff was the best DJ they had ever had at a wedding, and we couldn't agree more. F & J just entertained at our daughter's sweet 16 party. Between Jeff as the MC, DJ the DJ as, well the DJ, and Leon the dancer our guests had a great time.
