i think they work hard for this job. I did it years ago at my first job when there were no " rules" and it was disgusting what people turned in in their " empty" bottles! I still think it's pretty yucky . if you don't want to have mistakes, count them all first and don't expect a person not to make a little mistake " on a summers worth of bottles!" I had been a regular until taking a summer's worth of cans/bottles 600+. Took 2 people to count them. She gave me money for 300+. Asked her if she included those counted by the male co-worker, she said yes. There was a line behind me, so I didn't take issue with her-wish I had. Just took my first returnables since - almost 2 years later as our garage had to be cleared out for construction. She verbally gave me the correct number returned, 236, but then gave me a receipt and payment for 118! I was in a rush, so didn't notice. Since many of us do a mental calculation of 10% ($.10 / return), then divide that by half to get to $.05 to get to the amount due, believe its likely that they halve that again, as easier to explain as an inadvertent error. Now that they are required to give a receipt-new since I last used them- this is a riskier process - if I didn't have her receipt, I probably wouldn't have weighed in. If they short customers directly in front of them, what are they doing to groups such as our FM Sports Boosters clubs???? read more

So I had a bunch of cardboard in my garage and I really needed to get rid of them on a Saturday , I called this place and a lady told me they accept cardboards, when I got there a gentleman told me they don't have any more capacity for cardboards and showed me the the actual container and he was right , but the girl who answered my phone earlier showed up and asked cardboards? And I said yes but you don't have any more room for that, and she just realized the container is full! She told me it's fine you can bring them in, even after she saw a huge box filled with more cardboards she told me it's fine. Only because of her word. It was extremely pleasant to see such a nice hardworking people, it made my day. I think her name was Angela. Thanks!! read more
