I enjoyed my time off from the grind by spending time with DEAR friends and Dropping In at a quality CrossFit gym like CrossFit Simplicity. The drop in process was great (and I got a shirt). The owner, Daniel, was professional and helpful. I worked out with the community 4x. This included one 5:30pm, 2 5:30am and one partner WOD. It was a great way to stay on track. The gym is spacious, the equipment organized and clean. The coaches were excellent. There is a shower with towels as well towels for the million burpees we did that week!!!! You know that nervous feeling you get during the partner work out? Not a problem here! My partner was accommodating and supportive of the "Old Man". Well, don't you worry! Daniel, Maryann and Felicia are the best. They take their time to teach you and make sure you are doing everything right. I am like a crossfit dummy, so everything is still so new to me, but they've been so patient with me and I love the fact that they encourage and motivate everybody like non stop! I've been going to 5:30am class everyday and I absolutely love it. What a great event. I loved doing something different. It was a 50 min full body workout. I felt comfortable and empowered. Alex was great. He gave me great suggestions how to use what I learned at home. The venue is open and has a large breath of equipment to help you focus on training your core and specific muscles groups. I took a Momentum class that gradually builds in intensity. The Focus was on athleticism & endurance where the pace was 6 rotations (2 each at 70 - 80 - 90% off weights) on 6 different stations. Let's just say you can feel the burn! I also got adjust positions based on my flexibility and limitations. I like to give it 100% so I did change too much. It was such a great experience! I could see few monthly classes in my rotation. I really appreciate the private parking too. That's a huge plus for the area!
