Can't find an appropriate airmail envelope at the post office? That was my experience this morning…read moreat both my local post and the main post office around the corner from the Stadthaus. Fortunately, I remembered this fab, four-story, paper goods-and-more-store was just a few blocks away from where I was and went straight there. As usual, I was greeted immediately upon entering the shop and took notice of how the employees seemed ready to jump in and help could I not manage to find my way to the parcels and packaging area. Zumstein is very well 'signed', so one needn't wander aimlessly from floor to floor looking for that one special item unless one really wants to do so. I've done that, too, and it's sort of a magically journey through office supplies, art supplies, and mailing supplies (they also have a parcel service, but I didn't get the specifics on it). As has already been mentioned in other posts, the employees are professional and helpful. I usually feel very well taken care of when I'm in Zumstein. This place is a must-visit for anyone who needs to post an item, write a letter, make a bit of art and then some.

That's the song that came to mind when I walked into the store, but I didn't want more because everything was already there. And no, that's not my song, the gorgeous little mermaid, Arial, came up with that one, for those of you who didn't already know that (shame on you). Rien Ne Va Plus has all sorts of strange things, from puzzle maps of Zurich (I was close to buying it but for 30 CHF it was kinda steep, and I still haven't put my world map puzzle together from Barnes and Noble), to music, board games, gag gifts, bouncy balls, stickers- stuff both adults and children would like. It's cute, in a cute location, and full of cute stuff. Rien Ne Va Plus hat viele Dinge fur die alte und junge Person.
