The staff go above and beyond to make you feel appreciated, always checking in with a positive attitude and great energy. I also noticed the owner personally interacting with customers, taking the time to talk with people and make sure everyone is taken care of--it's clear he truly values his patrons and takes pride in his business. Now the food... easily one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've ever had. The meat is high-quality, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The toppings are fresh, and everything comes together in that "this is exactly how a pastrami sandwich should taste" kind of way. The bread is soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart--every bite is just right. This is the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life. I went here after work on a late night shift with a coworker. We asked the night lead if we could have verbal authorization to leave her car. The next day we pulled up and her car was towed. He was definitely trying to threaten and scare me off. That's extremely unprofessional and actually crazy for a man three times my age to be underhandedly threatening me with his death relationship with the PD. since this man took over the quality of the food has tanked. We ate and we both woke up feeling ill. The ambiance is so weak. It's pretty much a step DOWN from Dennys. The hostility from a so called business owner is unacceptable. As an owner you should remain calm and de escalate instead of antagonize. After the altercation he thought it was funny to send a picture of me to my friend of me speaking to police like haha. When I lived in Los Angeles a Few years back my family would come here often. I visited here with my mom the last time I was in the area. And this location has changed quite a bit. For starters they took all the games, seating, candy machines, and TVs out. They're also saying a drive thru will be created somehow and they only talk call in orders which keep the staff safe. I can imagine the patrons they get nowadays smh. The food was made fresh, and although we don't have EBT I believe they do take it here which is a plus. I've ordered for delivery a couple of times. This last time I order 2 burgers. The hamburger and cheeseburger were good. I like that they have an option on how a person likes their meat cooked when ordering. I ordered the kids burger because the bigger burger has too much bread on the bun. I also like that they add a side of thousand island dressing. The French fries were off putting as they were very salty and a little hard. I got cheeseburger combo and was wondering why they charged me extra for the fries, I see why because they give you a load of fries, like 3 people ate the fries and we didn't even put a dent in it. The fish sandwhich was very thin and very deeply fried. Because of the thinness of the fish you could barely taste fish whereas you got a lot of heavily fried breading. The fish sandwich was a little over $8, so it doesn't even hold a value vs fast food chains. The French fries were average - not well done and not coated with salt.
