I mentioned the pain but she never asked if the pressure was ok or not. Last was the oil. I was covered in it, dripping off me when the massage finished. There was a towel that I used to wipe some of it off myself but I have had other places try to remove excess oil before the massage ends. The place is nicely decorated and everyone is professional, however I don't feel like I want to go back.

Eventually this spa popped up in my local town in Putney about 2 years ago offering 1 hr massages for a mere £35. It's relatively no frills but the rooms are pleasantly decorated but the walls are relatively thin so you may hear scuffling from the room next door. There is a steam room and shower downstairs as an option but I hardly use it. They offer 3 different types (Swedish, Combo and Thai) but I usually go for the Thai massage because it really gets the knots out of your back. I think it's a hit or a miss depending on the therapist you get but from my recent visit, it was definitely worth it.
