Great hipster discovery in Lisbon! We got it a suggestion…read morebut then were not planning to go. Yet, we found it by chance walking around midnight cross Lardo do Intendente. They had a dj that night and the music was filling the whole neighbourhood, so we decided to see what was happening. It is an apartment on the first floor with a couple of rooms and a great terrace/patio on the back. The atmosphere is really really nice and we had a fun night there. They closed around 2.30 though, so maybe next time I would go earlier and also try the food! In my past Lisbon trips I hadn't been to this area of town and it was a very pleasant discovery: there are also other nice bars and shops around.

When our hotel concierge was unable to get us a reservation, our guide got on the phone and presto-we had a reservation for a busy Friday night. We were surprised at how small the venue was-it maybe seated 40. Cover charge included dinner-fortunately we hadn't eaten yet! Dishes were served family style to each table and included a variety of Portuguese specialities. Wine and beer was also included. The show began with two musicians/singers and they were fantastic. Later our server joined in and then the cook! What a fantastic performance! Fado is often referred to as Portuguese blues with haunting ballads. Not really knowing what to expect, we felt fortunate to experience this with "locals". Service was wonderful, food was pretty good as well but we really came for the music so I'm not really critiquing the food.

He had a lot if different bags of dried "goodies", which My best guesses are dried berries of different sorts. Gin & tonic seems to be their signature drink here but I'm sure they have good wine and decent draft of beers. I liked the chill environment but the only thing I could not stand was the fact that some othe customers smoke inside the bar on the upper level.!I believe it is legal here? I'm not sure but if you don't mind the smoke, it would be a 5 star experience for you!

The place gets an A plus for a modern decor and the drinks were very reasonable. They do not take credit cards.

Floor was dirty with spilled drinks and limes and straws. They were the only thing open late on Pink St while other clubs and bars were closed. The bouncers here are rough. I saw the same shorter big guy get angry and actually hit someone outside. Don't mess with them here. I dropped my cup by accident outside and bouncer kicked me out.

The sound quality is always excellent, and the musicians never fail to please. I've seen techno, electronic, indie-ballads, and more at this wonderful, intimate venue. If MusicBox's single bar was well stocked, I would give this place five stars. Unfortunately, the drinks are a bit boring and overpriced. That being said, entry is always quite affordable so you can afford to spend a bit on drinks if you haven't had enough pre-drinks outside.

This place is cool but creeped me the hell out! Lol I went when no one was there I swear I heard…read morevoices. It has a very eerie feel when empty. Theres a part where you can walk by some glass cases and it has a sensor where it triggers a light to come on. When I walked into the room it was off. I continued to walk around and it remained off I was in there for about 5-10min before I walked in front of it. I finally made my way to the case and the light clicked on. I thought cool and looked at all the things then it turned off when I walked away and stayed off. Then when I revisited some of the things I was looking at before and the thing came back on while my back was to it. In my mind I thought finally someone else is in here with me. I turn around and nothing, then it turned off. It did this a few more times while I was in there theeeeeeen I decided fuck that I'm going to leave the room I'm not guna die today. Yes I can melodramatic sometimes, I've accepted this about myself. Lol some other weird stuff happened and I thought cool I get the point I'm leaving altogether. Lol overall they had some cool film stuff to view but this place is creepy.
