***UPDATE *** RUN !…read more After living here 1yr/ 6 months I can now give you a more honest and accurate review of our experience at North Gate Apartments. Once we were moved into the apartment we had nothing, but issues ... We had a water leak under the sink that went on for our entire lease term Towards the end of our 1yr & 6 month lease term the current manager Karina didn't think black mold growing under the sink was a big deal. Wow. The mold smell was strong! Yes, I have her response via email. The maintenance team only kept replacing the kitchen faucet, but obviously that wasn't the issue. - we also had a dish washer leaking water that was never replaced. Was told it was on order.... The bathroom sinks also had leaks, with black mold growing. ( maintenance team again said replacing the faucet was the issue) - we had a leaking washer, and it took them 3 months to even do anything about it. I was very upset at this point and reminded them that I could hold back rent if these issues were NOT addressed quickly. As, these folks take months to even try to address the issues at our apartment and close orders without fully addressing the issues. ( I also have proof, a voicemail from Karina stating they would close the order but would not forget me) Yeah, she forgot me and thought my dryer was the issue not the washer. ‍ Also, towards the end of the lease we notice the baseboards in our main bedroom start turning yellow. It almost look like water marks but they couldn't figure out from where it was as coming from. - last winter someone left the door open to the hallway and a pipe burst. Water leak down the hallway. The staff at North gate apartment removed the wet baseboards which I thought they would be replace right away. Nope, I moved out in January about year later and the baseboards are still missing. Also, be aware you will have a bug infection as they show up in the summer and winter too. Which makes me wonder if they are living inside of building 9! During our 6 month lease term the staff at North Gate Apartment added a new rule ' in which gave them the ability to tow our working Van from one of the parking spots in front of our building 9! Since we had a working van they couldn't find a way to make me move, from the current parking the van was in. The new rule is that you could NOT be park in the same parking for more than 14days !! Please look elsewhere y'all! It's an insane rule but from what I understand is the rule only applied to us. I have records of the same trucked' not moving for months and the trucks were never towed ! As the season came and went but those trucks never left those same parking spots for months! I honestly believe the staff at North Gate Apartment target us and discriminate against me. ( I am Latina and the owners of the trucks were not.. so yeah) It's TRUE' North Gate Apartments do not offer enough parking for everyone who currently lease with them. So instead of providing more parking for their current tenants, the staff at North Gate apartments added this rule. They now have a partnership with a local towing company so be careful! They are trying to resolve the parking issues at this community at your EXPENSE!!! Of coarse after moving out, we clean the apartment and did everything we were suppose too so we would receive a full refund. Nope they had all kinds of moving out fees and only return us $340 out of our $500 deposit. I did call, and email them regarding these fees. I have yet to hear back from the staff at North Gate Apartment! Mind you- we were on time paying tenants!We were quiet and kept to ourselves kind of people. We are just so grateful we decided to only renew the lease for 6 months until we figure out our next move and we NO longer have to deal with them. No I will never recommend this place to NO ONE! Although certain issues were never fixed even months after putting in service requests, living here was mostly enjoyable and easy. However, moving out is a NIGHTMARE. They will try to nickel and dime you for every single minor thing they find. We had a professional move out clean and they threatened to have us pay a $250 cleaning fee because they found crumbs in drawers, a water stain under the sink, a toilet paper roll (still with toilet paper) in the bathroom, and bottled water in the fridge. They literally sent pictures of crumbs in drawers. Luckily our move out cleaners were completely helpful and agreed to return to address the ludicrous and outlandish demands made by creekstone. I have a copy of the email and photos sent to us and I am happy to share. Also, while we lived at the property, we painted my children's bedrooms. We knew they would have to be repainted, but after a quick relocation by my husband's company and a demanding schedule, we were unable to repaint back to the original color. For the two secondary bedrooms they demanded $1250 for paint. Excuse me? They even graciously let us know that it was a discounted price. Yea right! They will not only charge you insane amounts (which is the norm in Williston), but will also try to get as much money as possible as you try to move on from the lease. RENTERS BEWARE! Do not let this company scam you! Edited to add- We requested an itemized receipt of painting services to substantiate the charge and amount, however the manager, Seison Johnson, just emailed us and said she would no longer be helping us or communicating with us "because of our negative review".

THE WORST APARTMENT EVER! I thought these apartments would be "decent" because of ALL the alleged…read more"glowing" reviews on multiple websites. Their marketing manager needs a bonus because this place is a profound crap hole. This apartment complex is one of the filthiest, thieving, and most poorly maintained places I've ever seen and unfortunately lived in. I will share EVERY ounce of fraud, deceit, and disgust I can. The pictures online are deceptive, and the reality is far from what they advertise. The hallways and common areas are downright disgusting. If there isn't dog feces (see pic) in the hallways, ceiling parts ripping away (see pic), a broken fire extinguisher glass panel (see pic), gang signs written on the walls (see pic), torn window screens (see pic), broken windows (see pic), shattered bulb covers or no covers (see pic), stains and garbage on the carpets (see pic). Windscape lied in their online post by stating that dog feces had never been reported or left in the hallways. You can read from a tenant about dog feces being left in the hallways. Trash is everywhere, attracting bugs and rodents, and a constant stench of marijuana seeps into other apartments (see manager comment about the consistent marijuana smell and about trash being left). The grounds of this cesspit are nauseating. In addition to dog crap inside the hallways, there is dog crap all over outside (see pic). The groundskeepers ignore ALL of the pet crap left everywhere outside. Windscape was so desperate to clean up the TON of pet crap, they tried bribing tenants with gift cards to clean it all up (see pic). Tenants should clean up after their pets, but when it is not, it is for the health of their tenants for Windscape employees to clean it up. There was a mouse infestation (you could hear them scratching in the walls and ceilings) wherein the health department came not once, but twice in one month (call and ask)!! A mouse carcass was on the outside apartment steps and remained there for five weeks (see all the pics and its slow decay). The lazy grounds people clearly have a mindset of, "well, it's not mine to clean up", well, it's your job to clean up! Do not count on maintenance to be proactive in doing their jobs. They do not shovel walkways when snow falls (see pic), and instead, they leave walkways covered in ice and snow. There are also complaints from tenants about dryers not working for weeks. In November (not a warm month), tenants were left without hot water (see pic)! No hot water for showers, washing hands, or cleaning dishes! By the way, the management has the water charges set up so YOU pay for other people's water!! Per Montana-Dakota Utilities, water is not isolated to YOUR apartment. Water charges are AVERAGED between every single tenant. So, if you never use a drop of water in your apartment for 30 days, you will still have a $20.00 plus charge for that month!! Windscape has stated on multiple apartment sites that they have modern kitchens with energy-efficient appliances. LIARS!! Do the pictures of the stove and the dishwasher look as though these are energy-efficient appliances? How long ago did GE place a hand-cranking clock in the middle of the stove or offer a stove in that color, and the dishwasher having a hand-shoving side lock?! You cannot even see the temperature on the dial on the stove because it is worn away due to being so old! The online photos of their complex are fraudulent and deceitful. Their garages have significant damage around the garage frames, the grounds are full of green weeds, not grass, the electrical plugs are twisted, broken, or hanging half off (see pic). The actual entryway has broken stone, shattered brick, and garbage on the grounds. There are massive holes as you walk towards the outside stairs, and to "fix it," Windscape covers these holes with door mats. Ever wonder why Windscape does not mention a pool? Well, the pool is filled with scum, blown weeds, dirt, and probably a staphylococcus infection. The pool at Daniel Laruso's apartment in Karate Kid doesn't even come close to this disgusting pool. The theft here is OFF THE CHARTS!! Items are taken from hallways, the laundry room, the atrium, cars, and even mailboxes (see all tenant comments). Some tenants must be criminals (drug dealers), and even the Williston Police Department said a lot of crime happens in these apartments and around the neighborhood. Foot traffic in the hallways is constant, especially in the middle of the night (Why are multiple people visiting an apartment at one, two, or three in the morning?) In only a span of six months, two MAJOR screaming and attacking incidents occurred. As the police arrived, I was waiting to hear gunshots because the fights were absolutely horrendous. I understand money dictates where you live, but if you're considering moving here, DO NOT DO IT!!!! It is worth paying more elsewhere!!

We needed month to month leasing and Golden City was immediately able to offer us a clean and beautifully up kept, quiet 3 bd 2 bth in a private 4-plex property with 2 car garage, 2 additional parking spaces and in-home laundry room with washer and dryer! It was a breeze to do the paperwork and Courtney was the best to work with because she was sweet, super helpful and able to get us what we needed. They have properties all over town and are able to work with you the way you need them to. This the best property management company that I've been with so far.
