Although this is a brand new hotel a few things they do not have cause them to miss the mark. With this being a brand new hotel not sure why they don't have a microwave or clock in your room. I kind of get the clock/alarm clock maybe they want you to enjoy your stay and not focus of time, etc. but not having a microwave is silly. Hotel Lela is connected to Tru but who wants to walk back and forth to heat up their food. Also, it was a bit annoying that you don't have anywhere in the shower to place your soap or body wash. The hotel is in a central location where it's close to a lot of places such as restaurants, shopping, etc. so you're near some of everything, just be mindful of your surroundings. As stated, they're adjoining to Tru so you share the pool and games. You have to go to the front desk of Tru to get the corn hole bags and paddles/table balls for the games. This is nice hotel and I'm sure we will probably stay again despite no microwave.

There is no official front desk, so we spoke with the people at the stand by the parking lot, and they were able to share information and assist bringing my parents' bags to their room, up a flight of stairs. There's a small sitting area on the balcony outside the rooms, and each room has its own unique decor. We love the eye for detail and design. Our room is The Hamptons, with two double beds and a separate room with TV and sitting area and desk (though it is open to the bedroom because no doors exist in the doorway; it would be cool if they had sliding doors to separate the spaces). The bar downstairs is lively and fun with amazing cocktails and a few small bite options, and it operates from the backyard yard of the Inn, so be prepared for a bit of noise from that and the street to filter into the room especially on weekends. This bar doubles as the Concord Espresso House that serves amazing espresso drinks and pastries in the morning. The indoor seating is low key elegant, a great spot to sit and start your morning.

I really appreciated the cool air, especially since I stayed at the Fairfield last month and the room was HOT. I also appreciated that the rooms have a finger-type lock so I could just put in my code with my finger instead of searching for a room key (they give you one if you'd like). I personally loved this little hotel and thought it was a great location and decent price for when I was there. Customer service couldn't have been any better. Texts were returned a second after they were sent. Parking is a breeze, even coming in late at night.

I'm not sure why the AC was off in the hallways and I felt bad for the housekeeping staff that had to work in such hot conditions. Not sure what was wrong with the HVAC system but it was unpleasant for everyone I spoke with in the elevators. Also, beware because the walls in between rooms are VERY thin and I could hear conversations and other things in the rooms on either side of me. That part was kind of awkward. Breakfast food was pretty standard with not many options. Staff was friendly. Fine location but lots of traffic around.

The bathroom was very nice and clean although I was a bit confused where the toilet paper was at since there wasn't any holder for it. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The only bad thing I could say is, much like another bed and breakfast I stayed in, we couldn't control the temperature or run a fan to make any noise. This was a ok for me, but just a word of caution. The temperature of our room was always good even when it was cold at night. The breakfast was a little different than I've had at B&Bs before as it was a buffet style with mostly cold items. There were some premade omelettes that could be microwaved, but I was good with a bagel and a big sized bowl of cereal. The small selection of pasteries was great! When I made a reservation, they recommended reserving a tram service which would take you and your bags from the ferry to the B&B. I skipped this part since it's not very far of a walk and I thought we could stretch our legs. The free good cart is definitely a HUGE plus. We were able to go across the island and back zig zagging some and making some stops. The free WiFi also kept us entertained while it was raining outside. If I could afford to come back another time, I would definitely stay here again.
