(Rude is the nicest word I can use) (Arrogant, narcissistic, disrespectful, unscrupulous, impolite and discourteous.) BAD/NO AC in rooms (Not only my room, other guests had the same problem) When they switched my room after 2 days ... NO HOT WATER (Swear you can't make this up) Employees talk trash about guests. I heard them talking at the front desk, Monica Grissom and her front desk / sidekick. Breakfast Buffett is old food. I am filing a complaint with the Texas DSHS. Employees park cars at front door. I am a loyal Marriott customer and this hotel disappoints! It is about 10ft from the Highway and the traffic noise is so loud you would think you were sleeping in your car. The hotel is cheaply made with thin walls and floors. You can hear the television from the room next door and every step someone above you takes. I could even hear a conversation someone was having on the phone word for word. If you want to try to sleep in a place with excessive constant noise all night long... this is the hotel for you. read more

We arrived very late on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and were greeting with a smile. Check in was fast, and the front desk person offered our son a choice of chocolates. There was plenty of food after our long drive from Dallas, so we were able to grab something from the marketplace by the front desk, and put our son to bed with a full belly. The rooms are very nice, spacious, and well appointed with tall ceilings. Ours had a fridge, microwave, and coffee. The nicest touch was the sleep mask and ear plugs. It's almost like they knew I snored and were accommodating my poor wife. The beds were comfortable, though there weren't any firm pillows. This is a risk when traveling though, and while I stay almost exclusively in Marriott properties, the pillow experience varies from place to place. We're leaving tomorrow and our stay has been quite pleasant. Next time we're in Wichita Falls we'll stay here again. read more

This is my second stay at this location. It is very rare to have a Hotel Manager, genuinely smile and show concern for my comfort. I frequent hotels for work and pleasure. I am Titanium Elite with Marriott, and higher levels at other hotel chains as well. The A.M. Manager did not know my member status because my work booked this stay through a third party, so no special treatment based on member status. The A.M. Manager is the best. She accomodated me, seemingly effortlessly, but I know she made a huge effort in making me comfortable during my stay. I have stayed at three locations in Wichita Falls, TX in the past two months. If you have a choice to stay at Fairfield Inn in Wichita Falls, this is the place!! The rooms are updated and clean. The parking lot gets full, but is ample. The staff is friendly. Hot coffee is available early. The morning complementary breakfast area and bar is neat and clean. Did I mention the staff is friendly?! read more

Absolutely horrible experience here- I, a mom, went to check in with my 5 year old daughter to find that the hotel was closed. Had not received any communication stating my reservation was cancelled. I got a casual response from someone who wouldn't even open the door to speak with me. When I asked what my daughter and I were supposed to at 8:00 PM with, now, nowhere to stay- "I dunno" and he walked away. I have reached out several times to management and received an "I am sorry"- very little care given to the situation. Extremely disappointed with this hotel, the customer service, and the regard given to me during all of this. I was offered zero help in finding an available room in the surrounding area. Find somewhere else that might be more courteous. 100% would not recommend staying here. read more

After my August road trip I was losing faith in Marriott properties. Most were not clean and the rate booked on Marriott website was not billed. I checked in late. Staff was friendly. Elites are offered an item from the marketplace. The room was clean. The room had a microwave, mini fridge and a coffeemaker. Bathroom is large. These new Marriott sinks have the bowl setback too far from the front edge. It is too hard to spit in the sink. Water pressure in the shower is low but adequate. A small closet and 3 drawers for clothes storage. The desk is nice. The parking lot is well lit and the location is just off I-44. Great place to stay. read more

BEST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED AT!!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We called last minute to see if they had a room available after booking with a different hotel that was terrible. The front desk lady was so sweet and got us a room right away. The hotel and room was so clean, no problems at all. Breakfast was AMAZING with so many options. Great place to stay for HHH, but it's already booked to capacity for next year HHH 2019. This is a new hotel. I give this an4.5/5 stars. The only issue is the water pressure in the rooms is weak and the pillows are too soft. There is a cute little pool and workout room. I was passing through for work and stopped by for the evening. I wanted to love this place but sadly had several issues. First the customer service. We had an issue with the room and booking and were met with such attitude, rudeness, and disrespect- I'll be contacting Marriott corporate. I've never felt so "attacked" over a minute service issue on their end, that was supposedly resolved hours ago. I called and had a message in the booking margin about said discrepancy. Second, it's very noisy / close to the freeway beware ( lots of traffic noise even with the air on). Lastly, while the rooms are nice, modern and clean (for the most part), the "clean" smell was overpowering to the point of triggering my allergies. Wouldn't stay again and would not recommend it. Response to Sue McGill. Yes please send the video to corporate to ensure proper management training and rehiring of a qualified GM. Sadly, Marriot didn't complete a criminal bg check as we found. Be wary. If there's a minor issue she'll claim "you were yelling in the lobby " and "you are being filmed." Check the 1-star reviews and pray that you don't have to deal with her. You will deal with a rude woman with an arrest record :) who lies about guests to keep herself in good graces. I guess next time (you want to roll your eyes, yell at, or embarrass a customer, by throwing a CC (a different one-star review or tell someone "I've tried 7 cards let's hope this one works" when you only swiped 2 (a lie), or tell someone "you're from another country I guess you've never seen water bugs")(another one-star review)....Just remember you are one Google search / Fb message search away from being called out. Slander by the way means a lie, public records are facts. As your "bullying" continues. My bf said just let it go but I do not tolerate rudeness or disrespect in the hospitality field where I am a paying customer. Sad, it's such a lovely property. This hotel is super accommodating and all the staff does a wonderful job of handling adversity. There was a fire alarm and their communication with emergency services helped get a fire alarm situation taken care of asap. Sue at the front desk was very nice and communicable with all the guests during our whole stay. We needed makeup remover and our room service lady was quick to get some to us. This is the nicest & cleanest hotel i've stayed at in years. Someone is running a well-oiled operation with high standards. The breakfast was well attended, the staff kept the food stocked & were actively working the dining area, cleaning & straightening. They offered to take our used plates, which is something you see in a cafe but never at a hotel complimentary breakfast area. No dirty tables, no crumbs or spillage on the floor or seating, just spotless. It's the little things that gets noticed! A class act. read more

It was late and we needed a place to crash for the night. What attracted my wife to the motel was the well lit parking lot. So we stopped here. Turns out that it was the first weekend that the motel was open. The staff was friendly and helpful. We paid for a queen room and ended up with a king. No complaints about that from us. The room met our expectations as it was clean, the shower worked, and the bed was comfortable. The room seemed more like a suite with the small couch and work desk by the window end of the room.  There was plenty of outlets for the phones, etc. The motel was quiet and we slept well. They had a decent continental breakfast in the morning. There was an exercise room but we didn't use it as we wanted to be on our way as soon as we finished eating. The hotel served its purpose. I felt the rates were reasonable and it was a good value for the money. If we're every back this way, we would probably stay here again. read more

Appreciate that the hotel was serving a hot breakfast, accommodating covid-19 guidelines by having staff helping guests. Hot coffee was available as well. The price was reasonable. The room was clean and the bathroom was fantastic. They were having an appreciation party or thank you cel ration of some sort for the staff and invited the guests to join! They said we were welcome to eat the food served as well (pizza!). This is a nice, clean hotel. Definitely one of the better options in Wichita Falls. The rooms are updated and very clean, the staff is helpful, and there are nice smart TVs in the rooms so you can log into Netflix, etc. Price was fair. The food that they sell in the lobby is exorbitantly priced, be prepared to spend $11 for a lean cuisine and Pepsi. Breakfast is included and is a good spread. Overall a very nice hotel. Stayed here one night in the king suite. Room was smaller than I would have expected but it was very clean and nice overall. Special thanks to Lalo for going the extra mile to set up the sleeper sofa for us!!! My family stayed here over Christmas break! I was amazed at all the hand sanitizing stations that were placed throughout the hotel. They only allow 2 people in the elevators at a time or one family at a time. There are signs placed everywhere as reminders. There are also signs placed up for reminders to wear your mask. All employees wore masks. I saw a few that were sanitizing which impressed me. It was very clean throughout the hotel and our rooms were cleaned while we were away. Housekeepers did not enter while we were there but they replaced towels and took the trash for us when we asked, while keeping a safe distance. Enjoyed it! I'll be staying there whenever I need a room reservation! read more

I am in agreement with everything stated by the previous reviewers except for the cleanliness statement. I have stayed here several times the past 2 months. In 3 out of 4 times there has been long hair on the shower wall. It makes me wonder how clean this place really is. And yes, I have brought it to the attention of management. Both Paula and Alice are friendly and helpful on the front desk. read more
