This is done in very many different ways and ministries! Lead pastor Adam Romans knew us by name after a couple weeks attending here. He has a wonderful wife, Christina, who serves sacrificially from the shadow, with all her heart, dedication and love. They are very welcoming and have a beautiful family. Pastor Adam takes personal interest in getting to know you as individual! He is very well educated yet humble; compassionate and caring; devoted and wise. He preaches the Word in truth and love. Pastor Steve Moroney is a great teacher of the Bible. We love his in-depth Bible Studies. He is also very wise, knowledgeable, supportive and caring. Pastor Isaac Van Epps manages the Care Department at the church. Although he is new to Parkside Green, he is very experienced and wise counselor/teacher. He is a patient, gracious and encouraging pastor! The student and children's ministries are blooming due to fantastic leaders and volunteers who do the job with much love, wisdom, dedication and empathy! Here, at this church, are many support groups that are doing a phenomenal work in the community due to the love manifested by their volunteers. We have been coming here for about 3 years and absolutely love the people, the pastors, the teaching and the worship.

Formerly Harvest Bible Church, this church connected with Parkside Church in Bainbridge about 12…read moreyears ago and became its affiliate under the guidance of Pastor Alistair Begg, its respected leader known to many through his Truth For Life radio show. Prospering for a decade, in 2019 Parkside Green chose to become independent again, and other than retaining the Parkside name, there is little connection between the two churches. Lead Pastor Adam Romans is a compassionate, well-educated man whose sermons are historical-based, not theme-based, so you are more likely to leave a Sunday service thinking "Good to know" rather than "Wow! Great message! I can use that concept in my daily life this week!". Pastor Steve Moroney recently retired from a career teaching theology at Malone University and he is excellent at teaching Bible studies; the childrens' programs are respected by families. On the downside, if you are looking to interface with Alistair Begg's network, the affiliation is now nearly absent, and Parkside Green is struggling with making effective/proper decisions through its inexperienced elders. Worship/music has talent available but lacks the music dynamics expected for a church of this size, possibly due to novice leadership. Church membership requirements have become inappropriate for some, being circumstantially-based rather than Biblically-focused. I attended here regularly for the past year; church rejected my potential for service, and did not provide annual accounting as required by the IRS for my ongoing financial contribution. Put this church on your "shopping list" but be careful that it is essentially starting over again by its own choice.

The outreach into the community is absolutely amazing, and the heart that they have for the city of Canton is seen through the outreach efforts. Do yourself a favor and join for worship. They have given in every way to the local community. The services have modern worship and excellent teaching and preaching. They have worked hard to have a world class children's program and the services have state of the art audio and visuals. I have not seen a focus on money at Cathedral of Life at all in the time I have attended. The only time I have seen any coaxing to give was when it was to give to another church or family that was in need.
