I had a really good experience at Faith! I had Mike for my 1st and 3rd in-car and he was pretty good. The only things was that he kept breaking for me and he was a little passive aggressive at some bits, but he was a solid instructor. My 2nd instructor was Melanie, she was very nice and we connected really well. She reminded me of my aunt! She did yell at me at all, even when I made a major mistake. Lastly is Rachel. Rachel is kindest soul ever and I was glad to have her for my last in-car. She really helped me with maneuverability and we connected really well! You are lucky to have any of these people, but if you have Rachel you are especially lucky! read more

Faith Driving School - Cones for practicing - Driving Schools Near Me - Hilliard, Ohio

I scheduled my daughter's in-cars six months in advance due to a backlog from CV19. Recently got a call they will need to be rescheduled which is very disappointing considering we've waited so long. Faith refers you to an online class vendor that is a more expensive option. I'm sure they have a contract or agreement with the online class vendor but that was frustrating to not have it mentioned that you could shop for your own class and find better pricing with another approved vendor. I will update my review after the in-cars happen but so far I am not impressed with my experience or their customer service. ........ Update (05/31) I was charged $50 for a missed class. It's upsetting b/c it seems like I should be given an email or template of the scheduled classes- which I wasn't. They said it was written on the back of a business card. I produced the only thing I was given when we scheduled- which was a business card receipt. $400 (now $450) and I've had to be accommodating w/ them and was helpful and polite but not given the same in return. Bad business practice and not enough systems to handle their logistics (lady points to a wall of post-its used to keep track of appointments- NOT reassuring). read more

They got my kid in earlier than anticipated, which was a good thing. My child enjoyed all but one of the instructors. He had a hard time understanding Mr. M accent. Said he could be a bit harsh when teaching about maneuverability. I will say that my kid didn't get as much freeway driving as I would have hoped. It was very brief ... for what we pay for the lessons it should have been more involved. My first child drove the whole 270. My recent kid drove from HIlliard to Dublin ( sawmill exit) and that wax it. That was a little disappointing. Mr D did well with my kid. Other than the minimum freeway driving experience I don't have any issues with this company. read more

Well to start when Ross was 30 mins late to one of my appointments and my mom mad a fuss about it, he proceeded to ask me while alone in the car about why mom was mad when she had explained it very throughly to him which was super uncomfortable. Then there was Moe, he's an old guy who doesn't speak English that will so sometimes as he told me things to do I wouldn't understand him which while driving not understand the person trying to teach me to drive is awful. He also yelled at me more than once. So that was my wonderful experience with faith driving school. They need new people. read more

I was looking for a driving school which is close to my place. There were not many choices and I picked Faith driving school. Very professional team. Right from scheduling , followup reminders and driving classes , everything went smooth. They were packed for the entire year. Their office is next to BMV office in Hilliard. There are multiple instructors who will take you out for your road driving . I liked the way they broke down their classes which gives students an opportunity to drive on different type of roads and surrounding . I was impressed to see they accommodated one of the student who by mistake was 2 hrs early there. Rather than making her sit for 2 hrs , they reshuffled their schedule and took her for the class immediately. Among all Keith seems to be favorite of everyone. That does not mean others are not good, they are equally good. They do rent cones and small electric car for practice and test. Overall good experience. will definitely recommend. read more

After my son completed an online driving course, we selected Faith Driving School for in-car sessions. Even though it is far from our neighborhood, there are several reasons we were very pleased by this choice: 1) Transparency: A real live person will answer your calls and questions politely and directly. You can view the driving calendar and make choices that fit your schedule (you will need to do this WELL in advance). 2) Accountability: The team was professional and follow-through with all scheduling and instruction. 3) Mo & Keith: Both served as instructors. Mo was always early for the lesson, always prepared, and incredibly calm. Keith is full of joy, also timely, gregarious, and so very positive and encouraging for my young driver I will be back with my other sons. Thank you Faith! read more

My 16 year old son had a great experience here. He took the in-class part of the program the first two weeks of August 2017 and had a great teacher who was able to tell real life stories to bring home his safety points. He really got my son's attention. He took the in-car part of the class a week later. The instructor picked him up at school and spent two hours working on his driving and maneuverability skills each day for four days. We rented cones for a week ($10 for the week) to practice maneuverability in our car. It is much larger and harder to steer than the school's car and my son was getting discouraged because it was so much harder. I called Yazan, the owner of Faith Driving School, to ask if there was a different trick when using a larger car. He came to where we were practicing (a lot near the driving school) and worked with my son for 15-20 minutes until he was confident he could pass the test. Yazan did not charge us for this time, but really wanted to see my son succeed. In the end, we rented a car from the driving school. (The A/C went out in our car.). It only cost $50 and included another private lesson with Yazan just before the driving test. My son passed with flying colors and Yazan was even gracious enough to accept my excited hug before he left the DMV. I highly recommend Faith Driving School. read more

We found this place through the school. It's a small store front with a few instructors. Owners are hands-on. The only beef I have with this place is that the in-car instructor "highly encouraged" my student driver to get up to legal speed as quickly as possible. I have had to combat this mentality and not sure if it will ever change. The idea of basically telling a teenager to floor it to get up to max speed seems ridiculous to me. The owner is accommodating and they're friendly enough. Overall, pretty fair. read more

Covid was a nightmare for a kid trying to get through drivers ed and complete in car. The guys at Faith driving school were more than accommodating, they were able to get my son in months sooner than any other school we tried, even with their full schedules. They were so nice and my son was finished and had his license 5 days after his 16th bday. We really appreciated their willingness to work him in to their hectic schedule. read more

My daughter had a wonderful driving instructor - Keith - who was encouraging and complimentary with a great sense of humor, and made her feel very relaxed in the car. Just have to tell you, we had a great experience with Faith Driving School! We live on the North side of Columbus, but it was well worth the drive to Hilliard! Our daughter received good classes, scored very well on the "final." We were as equally satisfied with the in-car sessions. AMAZING price, best we have found, makes it worth the drive. While she was doing her in-car for a couple of hours, we walked the Tuttle Mall, had dinner, did Father's Day shopping, it really wasn't so bad. Kuddos to Faith Driving School! read more

This place seems like it isn't all that. But it has been family ran for years. Owners put their hard work in a lot. Staff is great and are very informative. This school has the cheapest prices in town. With that said, scheduling stuff is a little pain because everything is a month or two out, but it is worth the wait! My son had a great experience here. The staff and instructors are all very friendly. The actual in-car lessons were scheduled a few months out, but they were in all the schools I checked with. They went out of their way to answer all my questions and always returned calls promptly. I recommend this school to all my friends with 16 year olds. If your black Faith Driving School is not the place for you, I noticed a huge difference in the way he treated and spoke to blacks. I personally had a terrible experience at Faith and it only lasted three hours. Today I did my in-cars with a tired instructor who fell asleep while I was driving. I found my self having to wake him up when the only options where left and right. Once my two hours ended my intructor went inside spoke to the owner in Arabic called me over and left. The owner began yelling at me and said I wasn't listening to the instructor and putting his car at risk. I was very shocked because I made sure I listened to EVERYTHING the instructor said which was mostly directions. The only thing that could possibly make him mad was maneuverability. I couldn't quite get the hang of it and he seemed to get frustrated. My mom came to pick me up and I told her what happened. She wanted to talk to the owner but before she could say anything he began yelling at my mom telling her I wasn't listening to the instructor. My mom began to raise her voice back demanding respect. He started making threats saying he was going to kick me out and not give us a refund. My mom tried calming him down and once he calmed down he offered us a deal. He said he was going to give us a full refund and we could go to another driving school. My mom agreed to that deal but the owner immediately changed the deal saying he was going to have to keep eighty dollars for the two hours of service and my mom reluctantly agreed. He began rummaging through papers and all of a sudden began raising his voice again. He said he doesn't have to give us a refund and was no longer gonna offer his services. My mom began to raise her voice back and thats when he decided to call the cops. The cops came and got both sides of the story. They told us we would unfortunately not get our money back because we signed a contract saying, in fine print, "no refund". The officers later told us to come on yelp and file a bad review and use the word of mouth to prevent others from experiencing what i've experienced. read more
