Oh boy. Where do I start? I broke my ankle 7/2/22 and went to the ER 7/3. Since 7/3 (Currently 7/12) I have been fucked around by this Medical Center. I've been told by one person to walk in for an appointment, having a nurse that day do her absolute best to kick me out. Telling the other nurse that it "takes too much paperwork" to do walk-ins and mentioned her fancy lunch she brought... must be why she didn't want to help anyone so she can worry more about her lunch. Didn't get her name, Had to convince her to let me wait inside & sit down w/ a broken ankle. Persistently said I won't be seen/should just leave. Kicked everyone out/told them to come back after 2pm when her lunch was over. I had Jason call and tell me they needed the x-rays and waited DAYS when it should have been there the 3rd after getting off the phone with the ER. I've been told how it's the insurance's fault; even though I have called both of my insurance numbers and both told me my doctor has filed the referral wrong-- causing a longer wait to get anyone to look at my broken ankle! It's been 9 days and no one has psychically looked at my ankle, the televisit with Robert Krochalis-Soliani was a joke, he didn't even have my x-rays that they needed so bad to make the appointment??? Which made me wonder if I could have gotten this done much faster the day I walked in!!! This still isn't taken care of, it's absolutely absurd that if anyone needs real medical attention it will just be thrown aside! If you want real medical help-- go somewhere else. Anywhere else. This place will tell you what you want to hear and takes fucking FOREVER to actually do what they are supposed to. read more

I needed to change phone numbers on my portal profile they use. I changed them and had a pop up stating it would be changed once they looked at it. Here we are weeks later and nothing changed. Luckily I received a few reminders about the appointment via e-mail. Not looking forward to even looking at this place for the appointment. And from a previous appointment to get blood drawn, that side of the building was gross. It was OK in the blood room, but come time to provide a urine sample, that closet was disgusting. Really happy I did not have to squat for a stool sample. And the check in staff was rude because my name was not on the insurance card as I was the dependent. I wouldn't recommend going here! I recently had to switch Doctors as my insurance had changed. And this place was the only available one in my network. Since I've been at this place for a few months now, nothing gets approved, plus I have a pre-existing condition which I'm already seeing a different Dr. for that. They would refer me to a different specialist when they have no idea that I'm already being treated somewhere else for that. My Doctor is supposed to be Margaret Deel, but she's never in the office, you see a nurse practitioner who doesn't know anything about my pre-existing condition. The people you talk to over the phone you can barely understand what they're saying, and often rude. I would not recommend this place. I would suggest looking elsewhere, if you have the option. read more

Addendum: After some research, I learned that this place just uses a doctor's name. There is never a doctor on site and it is managed by a nurse practitioner. He is also the provider you will most likely see. read more

Honestly, this place is mediocre at best. I only say this because the staff working reception are pretty unhelpful and clueless when you call with any questions. I was billed for a certain amount and I had a question so I called the phone number listed on the bill that says for billing questions call... their office number. The receptionist that answered and put me hold multiple times only to answer cluelessly say we don't handle billing you have to call your insurance. I just wanted an explanation for my charge because the charge originated from the office. What was I charged for? Regardless, my second interaction with the staff I was put on hold when asked if I could pay by phone waited for bit then I hung up and drove over, guess what they are closed. read more

This place is great. the staff is very friendly. I brought my 1.5 year old son in to check out a skin rash and he checked not just his rash but also his lungs ears and throat for any infections. He gave me great tips on what i can change in his diet and daily exposure to see if he's allergic to anything. On the other hand my son wont eat anything and he told me to make him healthy smoothies! why didnt i think of that!? I know he will love smoothies so im excited to finally give him healthy things he can drink lol and introduce new foods that way too. Thank you thank you! read more

I had had an extremely high fever for 2 days so I called my oncologist. She encouraged me to find an urgent care or doctor right away to be tested for a UTI. Since we are here visiting for the winter, we don't have a local doctor so my husband called FMC a little after 4pm and spoke with a nice gentleman who put him on hold and then said they could do the test if we came right in. We were there in 5 min but when we got there the two women receptionists at the counter weren't having it. We told them a man told us to come in and they didn't deny that was true but after a few minutes of talking amongst themselves, they turned us away. I was feeling so awful I barely had the strength to get myself there. Our only alternative was to drive to Greybill Urgent Care in Escondido which took excellent care of us. Clearly the receptionists have other priorities than patient care! read more

This medical center is a joke. I'm disturbed that it has good ratings. I have called twice about non emergency but urgent situations and both times have offered me an appointment 3 weeks out. Example: I call with abdominal pain and blood in my urine. The gentleman says "I'll message the doctor and call you back when he calls in an antibiotic" (although I thought it weird to not get a urine culture) No call back. So I called the next day. And I was told- "We can offer you an appointment 3 weeks out." Two times for this situation is enough for me. Changing doctors immediately. read more

I always have to go in person to speak to them & when I do, I get told "next time just give us a call". I don't enjoy going in person.. so if only they'd answer the phone, it would help. Do not purchase their Groupons!!!!!!!! Thankfully I was given a Groupon gift card because if I had actually paid for this service I would have been extremely pissed off. My groupon was for a microdermabrasion w/ a glycolic peel and I have to say it was the worst one I have ever received. This place is not a spa or anything close to it. In fact, it was an urgent care with a room they happened to put an esthetician in. Talk about hand sanitizer and face mask! Ughh.. Who knows what the hell I was breathing in while filling out piles of paperwork?!? If I wanted to go to an urgent care then I would get sick :) So anyways, my biggest pet peeve of the appointment was the fact that she had asked me what my skin concerns were, and after I told her she did nothing to address those things. She did however try really hard to sell me on products that would "help" it. I'll explain, I told her that I was breaking out a little under my jaw line due to stress, she looked and agreed. When she washed my face she didn't even wash the area... I had to ask her to please get that area and she did. I don't know if she was too busy trying to sell me products that it completely slipped her mind BUT two minutes later she skipped the area AGAIN when doing the microderm! I am an esthetician as well and I have received/ given countless microderm's so I know exactly how they should go and I'm sorry but it just wasn't cutting it for me...not to mention the peel was thrown on and barely taken off, there was no extractions, no mask, and no frills. I just realized that it has taken me more time to write this review than the service took. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. Like I said if I had actually paid $80.00 for this service I would have demanded my money back from groupon. Without a groupon they try to sell this service at $180.00! I would eat dirt before ever paying that!?! I paid 80 at a medical spa, it took her an hour and 15 minutes. She massaged, masqued, extracted and I was comfortable and under a sheet without having to hear about products the whole time. Plus someone should tell them that microderm is outdated, I still like them but I will not pay over $80.00 for one. A part of me wonders if she skimped on the service because it was a groupon. Hmm? The best part: When I left there I was only feeling bummed but upon waking up this morning I was feeling nervous and a little scared because on my face are two pretty good sized burn marks near the bottom of my nose heading towards my mouth :/ I hope it heals before the fair Saturday, I'm really looking forward to the freaky skin peeling that will come next assuming it doesn't scar :/ Thanks for reading! A Mr. Alvaro Berrios who claims he is a Doctor is one of the biggest s##t hole quacks that ever padded a medical bill. I would completely avoid this office. And the staff is only as good as their Doctor so need I say more. Mr. Berrios is a raciest, and a rude, disrespectful, failure of a Doctor. Berrios should not be in a medical or veterinarian office. I personally wouldn't let this hack care for a dying dog on the side of the highway because he would only cause it more pain and suffering before giving up and letting it greatly suffer even worse. People searching for medical care in Fallbrook are given the information for a Dr. Margaret Deel for Fallbrook Medical and forced to accept quacks such as Mr. Berrios. Margaret Deel is the referred MD for many patients with Medical and Medicare however she has never been available and a minimum of at least six months if you ask to see her. This place is forcing patients to see whatever person puts on the coat that day if they want any care at all. Doctor Deel in my opinion should be spelled DEAL because it seems people have made a deal to falsely represent this provider and the level of care given. Patients and insurance companies are led to believe in false hopes while not being able to trust in the medical care provided. If you may have some reason you have to accept any level of care that you can get, and don't really care about AMA standards or US level of care laws then this is your place. read more

Dr. Berrios is a wonderful and very caring doctor. He spends a great deal of time with you and evaluates all your concerns. I also noted how is is creative and thinks outside the box which is entirely refreshing. Highly recommend. Prices are extremely fair. Compassionate too. My experience here was GREAT! I purchased a Groupon for 3 Microdermabrasions 3 Glycolic peels, which I thought was a great value! I came in the day of my appt. and the place was not your typical Spa enviornment but then again I knew I was coming into a Medical office and that didn't bother me considering I was getting such a good deal. The staff all seemed very friendly and then I met with the esthetician Marely, I let her know my concerns and how I've struggled with breakouts, scarring and that I've done numerous treatments, so I was very familiar with it all. I felt like she was really knowledgeable, personable and gives you a realistic idea of what to expect. I also love how she used the Clairsonic on me!...She recommended a serum for me that I am so glad I purchased, its working great. This place is a joke. Got labs done, that were needed for my new dosage of medications and didn't hear back for a week and a half, even after calling them everyday. They always forwarded me to voicemail. Today I finally got a hold of them, and the medical assistant had no idea what she was doing and said she'd call my prescription over to my pharmacy. I called back to make sure and she said yes that she was doing it right after we got off the phone. Well i got to the pharmacy and of course she didn't call it in. My medications are vital, if i don't take them i get extremely sick so you see my issue. The office was already closed at that point so I had no way of contacting them. The doctor told her a completely different care plan than what him and I discussed and I'm beyond upset. Don't go here...EVER. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Berrios for several months now, and I've never had a problem. He listens better than my previous physician's, which I love! I've never had problems scheduling appointments either. The overall staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is pleasant! I love this place. I have only been here once, which was earlier today. They helped me with everything I needed and seemed caring and professional. There was only one thing that wasn't so great and that was the wait time. However I wasn't bothered by it because I got scheduled to see a doctor the same day I called to see if they can help me. So it's understandable that I had to wait. Also it was busy, which is a good sign in my opinion. I went to another urgent care place in Fallbrook and had a terrible experience. That place was completely deserted and even though there was no one there the receptionist didn't acknowledge me when I walked in (I couldn't see her behind her divider, but it must have been obvious that someone had just walked in). Anyway this place was just the opposite. I'd rather go to a busy place and wait to receive quality medical care. I mean it's busy for a reason! :-) read more

I love the convenient hours... (Good luck finding a spa that will give you an appointment after 5:30) I don't know who can go to get 2 hour of pampering smack in the middle of the day, not me, I work. I get my vitamin shots there too for a total wellness experience. And they do wellness workshops too that address various health issues like cleansing foods, or eating for energy. The staff seems very nice and professional. And while it doesn't have a "spa" feel to it, I love the fact that there is supervising physician. Since lets face it, anyone can become an esthetician but not everyone can become a doctor. The lady that has done my microderms seemed competent and friendly. And yes she recommended a few products as they do at any spa, and facial seemed like every other one I had received. I love the fact that I can get in and out with a quick cleanse and scrub. I just don't want to spend an hour and half on just a facial. Fallbrook is not that big, so its kind of nice they combine the medical facility with a beauty/wellness one.
