Mac-n-Cheese, Chicken-fried steak...generally fried anything. Welcome Camille Asake's wonderful new menu--inspired by the rich traditions of Continental Africa--to the competition. I will touch on the logistics and then move to the heart of her cuisine...Camille's has handled events for us ranging from 15 people to over 100, and the small details--timeliness, presentation and hospitality--are consistent and make for no surprises. Her prices are $$ on a scale of 1-5. The surprises come in the form of a wide array of Africa-inspired foods--built around Jollof (rice) to Omisagwe (Peanut Soup) to West African plantains to As Efo Tete (Yoruban "greens" which amusingly means "we have money still for fish")--and traditional foods grilled in the West African style. If you have never had cuisine from Central or West Africa, the content is not unlike what might happen if you crossed "southern" cuisine with Caribbean. For the adventurous, Camille's plates can be made spicy-to-order, which comes less like the Latin America "fire" created when you chomped down on a chili and in a more subtle manner (subtle but extended:) as the heat is established over time. Camille's culinary skills include Western or European talents as well, so it is possible to "mix" orders and provide a meal all will love. There are a couple of wonderful restaurants in the DFW area where you can also sample such menus, but if you want the food delivered to your doorstep in the Arlington/Ft. Worth area, I can't recommend someone more highly than Camille!

Located Grace from yelp and noticed her 5 star reviews. Gave her a call. Grace immediately sprang into action. She was energetic and very interested and available. She also had bartender resources which I needed. She sent over the menu selections which was quite impressive. Many different and unique options. Both parties went off spectacularly! The food was over-the-top delicious. The staff did a great job and were very personable. EVERYONE at the parties commented on the food and presentation. I can not praise Grace more. Impeccable service and highest quality of food I've ever seen at an offsite catering. She is a must for any occasion. I hired a caterer. I gained a friend. BTW, Not sure why Yelp has me in California. This took place in Arlington, TX

When we first sat down with her, she made us feel comfortable and helped us define what we were looking for. The other caterers we spoke to often gave us menus and asked us the "pick 3" from various categories. Grace helped us build up a menu based on our personal tastes and accounting for our families and traditional needs. It has been such a relief to work with someone who took the time up front to listen to us and get to know us. I feel that I can trust Grace to use her professional experience and best judgement, and I'm confident that we'll have a great menu on the day of the wedding that will be fresh and will leave everyone happy and full. :)

We had previously looked at the menu and ordered right away. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes with cream gravy, and the cream spinach. Everything was hot and tasty; the chicken breast was huge! Unfortunately, the banana pudding wasn't ready and no change was available for a cash payment. Evidently she had a breaker trip and was having a bit of a ventilation issue! The same person that took our order, served us and cleared the table. She might have been Cindy Sue‍ I definitely look forward to going back for breakfast; which is served all day!

S L O W S E R V I C E is an understatement!…read more Got my iced tea (flavored, very nice) 10min after being seated, my food order was taken 20min after being seated. Good thing I had nothing to do this Sunday lunchtime. The place is clean, has a warehouse with seating vibe, truly dirty glass entry door (I was seated facing it) feels like someone's side hustle. The cooking smoke bellowing from the kitchen adds a certain ambiance. Most of the patrons just help themselves to the condiments table rather than wait for the staff to appear (the bottles of ketchup with only an inch at the bottom with ketchup, same with the syrup, was sad). I ordered what seems to be the popular CFS with mashed potatoes and green beans for sides. Since it was made to order I was more than willing to wait, although 30-minutes is quite a wait (which we all tolerate when we are on vacation in Europe LOL). The CFS was very tasty, is that a deep fried panko batter? It's different. The mashed potatoes were average, the average gravy did not help it. The green beans were very good. That roll that was serviced was a high school cafeteria memory for sure. Fresh made piping hot blueberry pie served in a bowl was delicious.
