Upon getting the good news, they had what I needed, I headed over with some friends to make my purchase. I met the manager who was very gracious (she was born in the South I remember). She led me to the item where I quickly decided which one I wanted, as there were various patterns. My friends spread out around the store finding interesting things: from sauces to candy and a few knickknacks. Lots of stuff at good prices. The candy was a super bargain. The sauces were very interesting, two hot sauces I've never seen before and some good ol' Heinz 57 products. We purchased three sauces. And some other stuff. The cashier was also very friendly. In Williams it's the only competition for the Safeway grocery store and I'm glad the locals have the option to go to Dollar General and save some money.

Ive seen mice running across food ( bread items ) , reported it and no concern by staff. Today, I questioned the amount I was charged, per the receipt and got yelled at by the woman with gray and purple hair, and her coworker, because I asked why I was being yelled at and confronted over a reasonable question. Then they teamed up on me , got louder , which I replied in the same manner, and with good cause. Then I got trespassed. No worries, I wouldn't ever go back there again anyway and rarely do to begin with. They went further and said they were calling the police on me as they had phone in hands, so I simply went to the Police Station myself, only a few blocks away. I was told by the police they received no such call. These out of control women even tried to intimidate me by saying they had a camera on me. GOOOOOD !!!!!! , now their boss can pull the entire incident up. I wonder if they ever stopped to think that there are many retired cops in the world and most that I know of, don't stand for being treated the way I was today, and for good cause, and all this because I simply asked for clarification on what I was charged ??? STAY AWAY FOLKS !!!!!!

From the moment we walked up to the register, she never greeted us, smiled, or made eye contact. We had neatly stacked our groceries inside the basket to make checkout easier, but instead of politely asking us to take everything out, she abruptly told us to remove it all. We had no problem doing so--it was simply the way she spoke to us. My husband even made a lighthearted comment that we thought leaving everything neatly in the basket would make checkout easier, but instead of responding politely, she rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath. Throughout the entire transaction, she acted as though we were an inconvenience. She continued mumbling, handled our groceries carelessly, and when she finished scanning everything, she didn't tell us our total or even acknowledge us. She just stood there silently, staring at the register without looking at us or saying a word, leaving us wondering what she expected us to do. My husband finally asked, "Is that the total?" Instead of simply answering, she mumbled again, rolled her eyes with a nasty attitude, and immediately turned her attention to the next customer as if she was done with us--even though we hadn't even paid yet. After we completed the transaction, my husband still thanked her as we were leaving, but she didn't acknowledge him at all. She simply rolled her eyes again. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but there is no excuse for treating customers with this level of disrespect. We weren't asking for anything special--just basic courtesy. A simple greeting, polite communication, and a little professionalism go a long way. Unfortunately, this was one of the rudest customer service experiences we've had, and I sincerely hope management addresses it so no one else has to be treated this way.
