Unlike other businesses in the area, they allowed me to take a picture of the renowned Jackalopes they had hanging on the wall for sale. If you're asking what a Jackalope is, well today's your lucky day. It's an imaginary Wild West animal of folklore and a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope (or goat or deer) which is usually portrayed as a rabbit with antlers. H&B has 'em for sale if that's what you're "hunting" out during your Wild West ventures. --See a picture of one under the business listings-- Also what's unique is that the owners of H&B get to know, firsthand, the artists, craftsmen and people who created the unique and special works of art that they sell to the public. Awesome, the Haskell Crew loaded up a Brand New one 'still in the box' for my husband to bring over to Powell a couple days later. Although my husband was excited to see the brand new one 'still in the box', my mom was not. She wanted the one she sat in. She tried the new one for one night. Once the Haskell Crew were aware of her unhappiness, they very graciously took care of it, immediately ... even calling in the delivery crew. We have lived in Powell since 1990. Haskell Furniture has been a staple in our house. We've always known great things about them and that they are more than just our local furniture store, they are also our friends and neighbors. However, it was very expensive and looking around their store for other items I need for the house, I notice the higher prices, even on sale. The sales associate told me that they were lower in prices than other stores, but I didn't find that to be the case.
