Uhaul is very specific about the fact that it wasn't a reservation even though they were glad to take my credit card information and tell me to pick it up at 12:00, it was only an order. Showed up and was told that they didn't have the car dolly I needed. Called customer service and Joe tried to help and told me he would put me in for a $50 credit since the equipment wasn't available. I was then transferred to an area traffic manager that told me the equipment was due to be returned at 1:30. Then she told me I wouldn't be given the $50 credit since it was a same day reservation. Apparently customers only matter if they make the reservation more than a day in advance. I then asked for a manager and was told there wasn't one. After I repeated my request several times I was given the managers #. The manager was just as worthless refusing to do anything to make the situation better and then calling me a liar. The situation could have been easily resolved but it would have cost Uhaul $35 to do so by allowing me a car transport trailer instead of a dolly but that money was way more important to Uhaul than customer service.

Not only did he check out my home immediately, but he also began the drying out and restoration process as well. The flood occurred 3 weeks before my summer visit. He welcomed the challenge to remove everything that could lead to mold, dry the premises, work with my insurance company intensely (detailed documentation included), have a new floor installed and have it ready for me to move in before I arrived!
