This may be due to NY law but the beer / wine offerings were different from other bj's I've been in. A few years ago, I told the person who was working there that my phone charger wire stopped working and he replaced one for free which was really kind. I like that there is some diversity in products even compared to the BJs locations in the Queens/Long Island area. My experience here has been good 9/10 times. The only time it hasn't been good was when a store manager asked an associate to watch me check out. It was really uncomfortable and unnecessary since it wasn't to assist us or anything. Nobody else had to be watched like children. What a way to ruin people's day.

They also had an extra person at the door instead of the one usually there. She obviously just didn't care about disabled customers. When I asked staff about it, I was told they do not issue rain checks and couldn't even confirm if a restock was coming before the sale ended. Frustrated by the poor inventory planning, I reached out to BJ's corporate expecting a reasonable resolution. Instead, their response was pathetic and completely unhelpful. If a warehouse club runs a multi-day promotion, they need the inventory to back it up on day one--or at least the basic customer service to issue a rain check. Extremely disappointing experience.
