The male cashier looked me up and down as I approached the register. I politely told him I didn't need a bag, and instead of responding professionally, he tossed my shirt onto the counter with an obvious attitude and walked away without saying a word. I say thank you after and did it 2x just checking if he responded not just turn back on me. The entire interaction made me feel unwelcome and singled out. I can't say for certain what his intentions were, but the way I was treated left me feeling that my race may have played a role. Whether intentional or not, his behavior came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Customer service should make everyone feel welcome and respected. Because they deal with on this daily basis. And most visitors just want to argue. The Navajo Nation is a domestic country with their own laws and regulations. Don't like it? you can visit the stores off the Navajo Nation, which is about 1-3 hours away in ever which way you are traveling. Speedway is owned by 7 eleven, so they gave slurpees here. They have an large fresh coffee section as well.
