Amanda has a relaxed manner and conducts the business professionally but with a warm and friendly attitude. She separated the emotional, legal and financial aspects of the case and advised my daughter on how to proceed, drawing attention to the matters that would require legal representation and those that my daughter could conduct herself. I had the worst experience you could imagine with this law firm. It was a family law matter and…read morefrom having senior partners tell me 'I just want to get this off my desk' to being passed around with no less than FIVE different solicitors taking over the case during one year. There was no consistency or continuity and on top of everything I felt they did wrong which is a very long list, they also overcharged and charged multiple times for the same work, as yet (even after admitting the overcharging) they have not reimbursed me. I made a formal complaint about all of this and as per their own company procedures this should have been dealt with or responded to in 30 days, it has been seven months of excuses for not getting back to me. I advise against using this firm, they are expensive unorganised and disrespectful. If I could say more and give a lower rating I would. I am now filing a formal complaint with the legal ombudsman. I had a horrible experience and want to warn others so they don't have to spend thousands for the same outcome. Lastly, once I fired them and engaged another firm my case proceeded smoothly and I 'won' as I ended up with exactly the outcome I had proposed and fought for.
