I injured my back doing landscaping work while overdoing it cutting and removing sod as I installed new landscaping beds at my home. After ongoing debilitating back pain Dr Bormett was able not only able to pinpoint the actual source of the pain, but through a combination of traditional medicine and the use of Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), Dr Bormett was able to isolate and ultimately relieve the pain completely. Through the treatment process she not only treated the issue but also educated me on the importance of stretching and strength training the region to hopefully reduce the possibility of reoccurrence. I'm conflicted because the staff here is amazing. I've been a patient here for 20 years. It's time to find another doctor. It's actually the doctors that need some humility. Dr. Maryellen Bormett has been my doctor for the last couple of years. She had no interest in dealing with me until I gave her a bad review. Then she called me on a Saturday to argue that I didn't really call their office Wednesday, but some other number instead. Its all documented and in my call logs. Then she tried to argue a couple other things with me. I've documented everything and have witnesses. She's one of the worst doctors I've had. She didn't believe anything I told her and had to prove everything I said even though I'd been a patient there 20 years. She could have taken a look at my chart and history to read up on her patient but that's too boring for her. She wanted me to tell her everything then doubt everything I had to say. I went misdiagnosed for several years and had to throw a fit to get my doctor there to run blood work to see what was wrong with me when they were trying their best to call it depression with a condescending head pat. Turns out I was lucky to be alive. I had and still have cancer and several other things. I know my body and I will be my biggest advocate. I will not have a doctor that acts condescending like that again. How dare you. I probably should have looked for another doctor before now but I was still trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt because this sure is not fun for me. read more

my daughter's and I have been going to the Family Medicne Residency Center since 2012 and We have always been treated with up most kindness & respect. They have always seem to care about our well-being and have always been able to work with us on appointments and even same day appointments. The nurses are absolutely awesome and I love being remembered as if I matter. The only thing some may not like is that it is a residency so our Physcician does change every 2-3 years when they finish their residency and move on to have their own clinic. read more
