I love coming here, it's the best smelling thrift store by a landslide. They have a huge selection of boots, belts, western wear and have the widest selection of more or lightly used converse, vans, crocs and doc martens I've ever seen in a "thrift" store. First of all let me just say I am a customer of this store & I absolutely in NO WAY own it, work there, related to anyone, etc.!!! I don't know what the 1st reviewer "Becky M." is talking about??? I shop at many stores, whether they be thrift stores, walmart, target, malls, etc...but mostly I L-O-V-E thrift stores & getting great bargains! (I hate paying full price for anything) I absolutely LOVE this store. It is a thrift store, it's not Macy's, Chanel, etc., so everything is not electronically done as far as stocking, pricing, 200 people on staff, etc. They mostly give prices as they go. All you have to do is ask the person working there the price of the item you would like & they will give you a great deal!! These folks work very hard, they are not lazy people, I always see them busy cleaning, sweeping, fixing, repairing, etc. when I am there. It ALWAYS smells very clean inside. Their items are clean, not dirty or dusty like some thrift stores can be!! If there are shelves that are a little messy, I think it is because of customers coming in & out constantly and being sloppy with the merchandise! I saw one lady just the other day when I went in looking at clothing and she pulled out a pair of jeans and 2 pair fell on the floor and she just took the pair of jeans she picked and walked away, never even looked to pick them up and there is no way she didn't know they fell. So you cannot blame the people who own it or are working there all the time. Us shoppers can sometimes get lazy and don't clean the messes we make! I cannot say enough about the owners, I don't know them personally but I have been shopping at their store for about 1 year now (I go there once a week at least) and let me tell you they are so kind, patient, friendly & extremely APPRECIATIVE when you go into their store!! They appreciate you just coming into their store to shop around. Even if you do not buy anything they ALWAYS say "they appreciate your coming in"!! I think the reviewer "Becky M" is ridiculous for complaining about a "thrift store" because it wasn't perfect...I have NEVER seen a PERFECT thrift store..ever! Part of the fun of going to a thrift store is digging around & getting a great deal, I think! I think "Becky M." works for another area thrift store & is trying to get people not to go the other stores. I know you all don't know me but take my word everyone...I LOVE to shop and this is one of my absolute favorite stores! I live in Gainesboro, Tn which is about 25 miles each way from this Family Thrift store, so believe me if it were a crappy store, I would NEVER drive 50 miles just to go there..NO WAY! I don't think many would! Give this store a chance everyone, they do have great/clean stuff, even greater prices & the owners/operators are truly some of the KINDEST people you will ever meet! P.S. They do not just sell KMart liquidations..they sell from many types of stores!! Go take a look for yourself and you will know right off the bat it's not just kmart items! read more
