After the appointment, I had a seat again in the waiting room (my car was in the shop and I was waiting for my friend to arrive to pick me up). I assume they thought I had left because the office staff began gossiping about me (loud enough for the conversation to be easily heard by those in the waiting room, which included me). So much for patient privacy. I've never been so embarrassed in my life.
