    Breakfast bomb burrito
    Allie V.

Tried a new restaurant this morning. This place is so good! Breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, chourico, cheddar, crispy fried potatoes, Mozambique sauce, sriracha aioli, pimento sour cream, and guacamole. Unicorn pancake with sprinkles and a side of bacon. Two eggs, sausage, home fries, toast, and blueberry pancakes. Interior is small/mid-sized, no frills, local restaurant with a parking lot. There was no wait and we sat immediately. Service was quick and friendly. We will be coming back!

Thanks to Yelp for pointing us here. It was a small and simple looking place that wowed us with the look and taste of out meals. They serve breakfast all day so I went for an omelet. It was very good to eat and fun to look at. My husband's Rueban had thick and lean corned beef that was enough for two meals. Our server was great. We had our food quickly. A gem!

Saint Martha exudes an old-world, Euro-Chic charm that immediately wraps you in a cozy, comfortable feeling. The details, from the original pressed-tin ceiling to the quaint glass/wood wall separating the kitchen, all add to the ambiance. We started with a complex Black Onion Garlic dip with house-made potato chips. Straight away, this puts everyone in a good mood. Our appetizers consisted of Roasted Farm Carrots & Beets, Lamb and Beef Meatballs, and Citrus & Radicchio Salad (party of 4). All were expertly crafted, creative, and delicious. Of special note, the sauce served with the meatballs was "finger-lickin good". For entrees, we ordered White Lamb Ragu, Roasted Lamb Loin, and Nettie & Ramp Pesto Fettucini. Each dish was beautifully presented and generated a lot of excitement at the table. The roasted lamb, which was perfectly cooked medium rare, was succulent. The house-made, melt-in-your mouth pappardelle pasta served with a ragu sauce put me in the zone. For dessert, we enjoyed 2 servings of a Frangipane buckwheat tart with Almond ice cream. This unusual creation was a homerun. A 32-ounce French Press was enjoyed by all. It's not easy to produce such a meal. Co-owner / Chef Keith and his staff deserve kudos for turning out consistent, extraordinary fare that transports you to a fine European café. The quality of the ingredients, all locally sourced, shine in every dish. If you want something special, look no further than Saint Martha.

Not too sophisticated, just perfect. We had the soft shell green crab from Maine...beautifully and simply prepared in a ponzu sauce that was the perfect compliment. The season is short and availability is too so this was a first for us and a real treat. We also had the duck and the lamb entrees which are well balanced with the perfect veggies and sauces. Great bar with wonderful options for light drinkers, and hearty drinkers. Fresh new cocktail recipes and they have a large array of mock tails too. Make reservations so you aren't disappointed as it only seats 20. We ate at the bar and loved it.

Probably because every time I walk…read morethrough that door I'm so in the moment that the last thing on my mind is picking up my phone to write about it, which is a good problem to have. Metacom Kitchen is a cozy, intimate bistro, and if you haven't been, you're missing out. The atmosphere pulls you in immediately; warm, unhurried, with just the right amount of low lighting. Behind the bar you'll find a handsome Parisian bartender crafting some of the most thoughtful cocktails around. On this particular visit, that meant an extra dirty gin martini and a chai old fashioned. Both were perfect. My partner and I love to graze, rather than commit to one big entrée, when we can. My partner's family calls it bits and bobs, and that is what we did on this particular visit. We ordered the Duck Plate featuring duck three ways, some picked veggies, a fruit mustard, and grilled focaccia crostini. The Candy Beets & Salsify, which featured jewel-toned beet cubes scattered across what can only be described as a snow of barrel aged feta, roasted salsify (I had to look these up and apparently, they are somewhere between a parsnip and a carrot with an almost oyster like flavor when cooked), topped with some fresh green herbs. The dish was so pretty I almost didn't want to eat it. The Chickpea Fries are exactly what they sound like, and are somehow so much more; golden, crispy little logs served with an A1 aioli that you will not stop eating. The Coriander & Sea Salt Chicken Wings rounded things out; a pile of beautifully seasoned wings with caramelized onions and thyme, paired with a spicy buttermilk dipping sauce that had just the right amount of heat. Everything was absolutely delicious, which is honestly an understatement. We never save room for dessert and that was the plan this time too, until someone nearby ordered a crème brûlée and my partner's head spun around. That's her kryptonite. The version that night had Kahlua in it, which is usually not our thing; but the torched top was a beautiful lacquered brown, the custard underneath was silky, and wow, we were scraping the ramekin. Chef Allaire really knows his stuff. He creates small, decadent bites with ingredients you'd never think to pair, and somehow it all makes perfect sense on the plate. If you're feeling adventurous, make a reservation for Mystery Monday, where a three-course dinner is crafted for you on the spot. Pescatarians and other dietary preferences are accommodated if you let them know ahead of time. It fills up fast, so plan accordingly. If you prefer to order off the regular menu, that's available Monday too, and every other night. Either way, do yourself a favor and get here.

It was always a favorite, especially for Monday Madness…read moredinners with friends, but it closed about 18 months ago while the chef moved on to Scales and Shells in Newport, which has since changed ownership. Now, after being back for a month or so, the place is even better than before. We recently enjoyed Monday Madness ($45/head for 3 courses - a steal!) again--every dish was both innovative and delicious. Expect fun surprises like veal croquette with sweetbreads or an inventive duck sampler. The regular menu is concise but well-crafted, which means everything is fresh and prepared with care. I've always felt that a smaller menu leads to higher quality, and it's clear the kitchen is focused on doing each dish well. Hard to imagine other places keeping sixty menu items consistently good or fresh. Service remains reliable and welcoming. The only downside is parking, since you'll need to find a spot on the street nearby. Definitely recommended!

We ordered the mini stuffies, the hummus plate, and the fried pickles. The mini stuffies were a highlight. Loaded with Mello's chouriço and packed with flavor, they're a solid little bite. My grandfather set the bar pretty high for me on stuffies, and these came close. They have a different profile than what I grew up with; a little less bready, more chouriço forward, and the clam flavor takes a back seat. Not necessarily a complaint, they were just different from what I'm used to and were genuinely tasty. The lemon aioli on top was also a nice touch. The fried pickles were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy, well fried, and the breading actually stayed put while you ate them, which is more than I can say for a lot of fried pickles. They came with the same lemon aioli as the stuffies, which worked just as well here. The hummus plate was a bit of a letdown. We've had it many times before and it used to be a standout. This time the hummus itself was thick and pretty flavorless, more like a dense chickpea paste than anything else. The accompaniments were nice though and consisted of heirloom carrots, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, pickled cauliflower, carrot, and a pepperoncini, all served alongside some buttery round crackers that were like a Ritz cracker's more refined cousin. The veggies saved the plate, but the hummus needs to find its way back. I suppose it could have just been an off batch and won't prevent us from trying it again. Cocktails were great, as usual. I had the Anana with scotch. I love pineapple and this has muddled pineapple and basil, pineapple juice, cracked black pepper. It's my go-to here and it delivered again. My partner went adventurous and ordered the Jungle Booby, which is built around tequila blanco and mezcal with campari, pineapple, grapefruit, lime, orgeat, and an absinthe spritz. The flavors were genuinely good, but the smokiness from the mezcal was a bit much for her taste. She followed it up with a glass of rosé and had no complaints after that. The cocktail wasn't the problem, it just wasn't her style. One of our favorite spots in Warren for a quick nibble, for a good reason.
