3 stars becuase feeling gracious, food was hot and people were friendly but food was ight. I went through the drive thru at like 830 am Saturday and was the only person there kinda weird. Got the breakfast burrito and it was super average not in a great way. 10$ decent size bit lacking flavor. It had all three meats and still wasn't flavorful needed some fresh salsa too the green salsa theg had was just not cutting it and the potatoes were soggy. On the good side it qas a decent size even tho it was 10$ it better be and it tasted hot and service was friendly and quick. In short I really wouldn't go again maybe to try lunch to give it a second shot just becuase it was convenient. read more

This was my first and last time eating here. I ordered the carne asada plate it came with rice, beans, and pico de gallo. The carne asada tasted old like it was made yesterday and reheated for today. My son ordered the 3 stack pancakes and they were so thick and rubbery, he couldn't even cut them, let alone eat them. This review is based solely on their cheeseburger combo-my go-to meal whenever I go to a cafe place like this is the typical cheeseburger combos. I taste the fries and make sure that they are not too crispy or but well done. I also check for the burgers if the cooks made it specifically to how I want the meat cooked and what's in the burger (typical lettuce, cheese, onions, tomatoes, mayonnaise, etc). I like that the burger was not soggy. Many places give you burgers with soggy buns that are oozing with mayonnaise or thousand islands dressing on the bread which makes the bread less than appetizing. This burger was good and nothing like that happened. Fries were delicious as they were not too salty or overly done. Their soda was also not flat. Overall, I give this place 4/5 for the food. I took away 1 star because I think the area where you dine could have been cleaner. read more

This burger stand is a block away from the office but in all my years, I've never tried it until this week. I was pleasantly surprised as the place is actually a nice place to dine with the typical burger stand food selection including burgers, mexican food, and breakfast. It's a typical burger joint. There's A LOT of things you can order off this menu. I went with a ham and cheese omelette since it was breakfast for me and my friend got an avocado burger. I wasn't too impressed to be honest. I could've done this at home and made it look nicer. It wasn't horrible but I definitely won't be getting an omelette here any time soon. read more

Stopped by Famous Burgers because it was recommended by a family member. It's a small little place located on the north side of Imperial Hwy between Puente and Palm. The restaurant is decent size and has all booths (no tables). Restaurant is clean and orderly. The menu is eclectic with many choices to choose from, but it is truly a typical diner/café menu. Burgers, Pastrami, Pancakes, French Toast, Burritos...I ordered the pancake combo. Food was decent and portion size not too big. Prices are reasonable, with burger combos going for $5.29. I'll probably come back to try a burger, but all and all I anticipate it being nothing special. read more

I drove by to visit a friend today and saw a sign out for a $1.99 burger and fries manager special. Something looked very promising about the restaurant so I decided to eat there on the way back. Nothing special about the interior or decor, it's your basic burger diner. They do have a very oddly laid out drivethru. The menu is typical of a Greek owned burger diner. They have a lot of specials. I wasn't too hungry so I opted for a small chili cheese fries and soda. It came out to about $5.92. The girl behind the counter brought the food out and I helped myself to some of those yellow peppers. The have a Pepsi machine you operate yourself for free refills. I love my diet Pepsi. The chili fries were very good I'd say. The chili is just a tad on the sour side. The fries were crispy and hot and the shredded cheese was just enough. I have to say they get an A for effort. I believe you can tell from things like the chili fries that they are striving for quality. I also found the service to be very friendly. If burger and fries are only $1.99 that is an incredible value and I have to come back. Just a shame that it's a bit of a drive from me. read more

I used to like this place for the breakfast specials, but after today's visit, not so much anymore. For starters, the lady taking the orders had some attitude. Even though the place was pretty empty, she was rolling her eyes at me or making impatient faces as I was making my order for 4 people. Bad service turns me down so much! Had I been by myself, I would have left immediately! Then, the two very small pieces of bacon on my plate were so cold! They probably had been pre-cooked a while before and just sitting there. We normally come here for breakfast most of the staff knows our faces by now (my 2 kids and fiancé) the food is good however not better then imperial burgers down the street.. there is 1 staff member here with chola eye brows that is always rude and always dogging us.. when taking our order she is very aggressive and always cuts us off. I was in the drive thru when I looked up the reviews on yelp.. I'm thinking dam what did I get myself into. I had nothing but a good experience. I was driving by and seen the sign 2 burgers for $6. I added cheese on one and got a large fry it came for about $11. Burger was good fries were crispy (some reviews said they were soggy) I like when burger places add the chopped onions on the burger. Delicious. There was also yellow chili's in the bag that were soo good with the burger. I've been going to famous burgers for months and I love their food and their night service is really good the girl that works the drive-through and even the cooks are very nice but this is my first time going in in the morning and I have to admit it was very poor customer service and I'm very disappointed and I'll never go back. Wow I stepped in during the morning and really was up for some fish n' chips so despite being breakfast I felt right trying their plate in the morning. I liked it. I recalled the way mom made me fish fillet, when I was a child. And to my surprise it was crunchy, original to the simple tastes expected of the common fastfood english plate, really great aroma from the seasoning as if it were those finger foods that were deep fried shrimp from a Dennys food chain reataurant. But unlike Dennys, the servings' size of the plate was perfect, which is a sign of good quality integration into the food, knowingly characteristic that when having lower quality food to compensate with a massive serving is a way to make transparent a plates' bad quality by stuffing somebody to their hearts desire. I liked this plate. They know how to preserve quality. The fish tasted right, afterall it is not that hard to screw up fish n' chips, hehe. The serving portion was just right. read more

This place is amazing! I love their burgers and ranch lol BUT VEGETARIANS BEWARE! It's very unfortunate this happens but, if they run out of veggie patties for their Garden Burger (which is bomb) they will replace it with a turkey patty. The breakfast specials here are good value $3.49 for two eggs, 2 bacon or sausage, and 2 pancakes? It's not dressed up or fancy here but hey this is not some hipster cafe. The people here are friendly as well. The non specials though are very average priced. The California omelette that comes with hash browns and toast is $8.49 but is a decent amount of food. They have good indoor seating and free refills. The food is good and there are some very reasonably priced combos. Breakfast is served all day and is a good value as well. Burgers 4/5 Steak Sandwich 5/5 (they use a quality steak seasoned just right) Fries 4/5 Pastrami 3/5 Carne Asada plate 4/5 (their pico di gallo is awesome) Club Sandwich 2.5/5 (they use a smoked turkey which I don't care for) I haven't had their chicken salad, which is a very generous portion, but from what my friends tell me, well let's just say they keep coming back for it. read more
