I was grabbing my shoes as I was about to leave he yells across the store and tells me I need to be at the register now. Someone already approached me to say the store closes soon and I politely let him know that I was going to grab a pair of shoes and head out. that man heard that conversation and still felt the need to say something as he saw me grab the shoes I was going to buy. Showed up yesterday to pick up a pair of shoes that were ordered online. Got a confirmation at 11am that the shoes were ready. We drove 20 miles to pick up the shoes at the store that was supposed to be open till 7pm on Sunday. When we showed up at 5:30pm there was a hand written sign on the store saying the store was closed for the day. No apology or anything. Called corporate today and luckily they are refunding us $10 for the inconvenience but they had not been made aware that the store had closed dearly. read more

This place has the same prices as the Vacaville outlets as far as shoes go so great prices, good sales. This was the cheapest place we could find new ballence shoes in town. ***This Famous Footwear Outlet seems very similar to other outlet shoe stores; they had a decent selection of tennis shoes and dress shoes; several of the shoes were from reputable brands and in the $60-$90 range (finding shoes for $50 was difficult here but possible); service was fine though the store seemed a tad messy*** This Famous Footwear Outlet is located in Napa Premium Outlets, which has its own free parking lot; it was easy finding a space, but the parking lot was not that big. It is tucked in the Premium Outlets in Napa, on Freeway Dr. They carry many well-known brands of shoes like; Skeechers, Crocs, Nike, Sacony (sp??), Converse and more. The staff stops by to see how you're doing, & will ask you can they help you. Funny thing is - they don't. You end up doing the search through the boxes yourself, to find what you want. LOL So I dug in boxes & found myself a pair of Birkenstocks @ an incredible price of $25. I got my flip-flop shoe and it's Birkenstock. I am doubly happy. Yay! read more

Came here to check out some sandals since we were at the Outlet. Selection is surprisingly not bad, but maybe because I was expecting to find nothing. Staff is friendly and greeted you and asked you if you needed help. Prices are a few dollars lower than web prices. Good selection of sandals ($15-$60) and converse sneakers ($25-$45). Ended up buying 2 pairs. I would pop by this store again if you are at the Outlet and are looking for footwear. Lots of free parking and stores to shop at. read more

If you are giving this place two stars, it's because you're coming in when my fave lady is not there. I just saw that this place hAs bad reviews which shocked me. I dont know her name, but there is this awesome chick with glasses and a badass undercut /half shaved head that works here and shes the best. She gives me great feedback and is honest. I trust her a lot. if im looking for something thats not in the store she orders it online for me or directs me to a brand ill like so I can browse online later. I have found myself shopping here more as of late because of her awesome service and now that i do i seem to get more rewards on my acct.My impression of other employees is that equivalent to a potato, sorry guys. Famous Footwear has famous brands- and while they had Skechers on sale, there was a Skechers across the way with a 50% off sale. They had a good selection, it was clean, with friendly service. It was surprisingly uncrowded for a weekend... or else we had gotten there early. Good place for casual footwear at a reasonable price. read more

When I was in line waiting it was taking a while, the " assistant manager " looked at the lady behind me and only acknowledge her for waiting. Of course because I am not white. Being vegan, I actually search out man-made material on purpose when it comes to my shoes. I've had many a sales associate almost apologetically tell me that the shoe is not leather. Unlike others, I give a big cheer when I hear that! Until this summer, I didn't often shop at FF. Though they don't typically offer assistance unless I ask for it, once I do ask for help they are always friendly and Diane in particular goes above and beyond what I expected! I would say about 80% of the vegan shoes are cheap looking, poorly made and overpriced because of those 2 previous factors. But the 20% that aren't, really make it worth stopping in to browse once in a while. One of the pair of sandals I purchased this summer ended being my favorite shoe. I've worn them often and they are still in pretty good shape. This week I went in search of a combat boot type look and found a couple pair that were really cute. But the 80% rule kicked in and they ended up ranging from..." This pair will give me some problems to this pair is uncomfortable right now!" A bit disappointed, I noticed an adorable pair of vegan cowboy boots on my way out. And they fell into the 20% rule. Adorable, comfortable and well made. As a rule, I suggest shopping when they offer discounts or BOGOs. Though I couldn't find a second pair I liked, I received a 15% discount for checking in on Yelp and had a $5 coupon that I earned when I stocked up on summer sandals. Between the sale price and my discounts, I only paid $42! I left with a new pair of boots and a big smile! With the proper expectations and a discount coupon or two, this always ends up being a good experience! read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would! This is the second time I visit this store here in Napa in the last couple of months and believe me it will be the last! The worst part of this all is the same person that made my experience less then ok did it again.. she seems to be a "supervisor" what a joke.. she is awfully rude unprofessional and just not in the right job... They say bad experiences travel 10 times faster and to way many more people than a great experience.. I will make sure of that.. my entire family and friends will hear about the awful service provided by Tracy. She is rude to say the least. Her facial expressions/eye rolls to the poor hispanic lady in line in front of me were crazy! I wish I would've recorded the interaction.. I would make it go viral.. Its a shame! We don't have many shoe stores in Napa but believe me my business will be going elsewhere.. I will make sure my families business does too! I don't know who is running this store but I will find out this is not OK. One of my co-workers apparently stopped going there for the same reason based on her description of the person it seems to have been the same person. I hope something is done about this. The associates walked past me three times without even uttering a hello, let alone ask if i need help. The manager was standing in the front looking out the window, when i asked the cashier about a coupon she had no idea. I was just in here looking for a pair of shoes and possibly a couple gifts for my mom and husband. I was greeted by this blonde girl who at first was very nice and asked if i needed any help. I told her what i was here for and and said i was fine im just browsing because i domt know what exactly i want yet. she said let me know if i needed anything and walked away. I was probably in there for about 10 minutes and this girl went from being nice to completely hovering over me and even took a pair of shoes from me and and said that she would put it away herself, looked in the box acting like i was going to steal something. As i was trying on my last pair of shoes...which i ended up buying, she had the nerve to go up to her manager and talk about how she thought i was going to steal something right in front of me. It was completely rude and and disrespectful. If this girl hadnt come over to me every 2 minutes making me feel rushed and uncomfortable, i might have been able to decide faster and even bought more shoes... i will not be coming back. read more
