Balloon Guru was the only vendor actively engaging with me. I had only 2 weeks before my event and needed to book a vendor. The process was quick and efficient. Although I had no other vendors to which I could compare pricing, I did feel the price was a bit expensive. However, when you are in a bit of a time crunch, you have to go with what you got. We ordered 2 balloon columns and 2 demi-arches to help add to the decor for our event. The items were delivered in the promised window and we were pleased with outcome. My only slight complaint was that I wish the demi-arches were a bit taller to not make our taller guests have to bend down to avoid possibly running into a balloon. Other than that, everything went fine with the balloon order. I would recommend Balloon Guru.

She then offered a 20% refund and asked me to change my review, which I again declined. She claimed that despite paying for full event planning services, the event was subpar because I hadn't been involved in planning it. They didn't call. They didn't ask me to go their warehouse. They didn't do anything until the week of the event, when they tried to fit me into their random available times to walk them through my space via FaceTime. To clarify, I paid $2,000 for someone to plan and orchestrate an event. What I received was maybe a $200-$300 setup, and it's apparently my fault for not planning the event I paid someone to plan. She argued that I should have requested changes during the setup. However, I wasn't home at the time. The whole point of hiring this service was to arrive at a fully set-up event with my guests. When I arrived, they were still setting up as my guests were arriving (even though they were supposed to have been gone by then). So, there wasn't time to make changes, and it would have been an awkward conversation anyway. Instead of blaming me, they should have done the job they were paid to do or not sold the package in the first place. To add insult to injury, she compared this situation to eating a pizza and then requesting a refund. This was over $2k. It's not even close to ordering a pizza and asking for a refund. She ripped me off. I stand by my request for a full refund. She should have offered that refund on her own. This event was pitiful. I will never use their services again or recommend them to anyone.

You told us how busy you were today having 2 other displays/events and it's obvious that we didn't get the best quality based on how busy you were. - We really just wanted to chat through this with you to figure out a reasonable updated price, but you avoided discussing it with us and never responded, so we made this review. - We did not say 6-7pm was fine for pickup. We mutually agreed on 4pm specifically bc our son goes to sleep between 6-7pm and we wanted everything from the party cleaned up before that. - The fact that it fell over again AFTER your employee supposedly fixed it, says it all. We had to go find bags of gravel to try to keep it standing during the middle of our party. - We did not leave her "equipment" in the street.
