We didn't like how some of the venues we toured had certain areas still open to the public during the ceremony and cocktail hour, so the complete privacy that The Orchard provided was perfect. It was already beautiful when we toured it out of season, but it became even more beautiful when it bloomed for the season. One of the main reasons we chose this venue over our runner-up was the fact that we could see every guest from any angle of the venue, rather than people hiding in nooks and crannies. From the first tour all the way until the tear-down at the end of our event, the Orchard team was nothing short of exceptionally professional, accommodating, communicative, and just simply amazing. Krystle and Anissa were so quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the year of planning via text and email and so flexible in letting us give our wedding party and families our own self-tour of the venue on multiple occasions. We received so many comments from guests expressing how impressed they were with the organization and seamless flow of the ceremony and reception events, so shoutout to Brandon, Will, and the banquet staff for that! The vendors contracted with the venue are stellar as well. We had a separate company (not contracted with Wedgewood) come set up an unattended photo booth in the gazebo, so leading up to the wedding I had a minor concern that the Wi-Fi would possibly not reach there, but that went smoothly just like everything else! Kevin was our day-of coordinator, and we truly have nothing but never-ending praises for him! He is so personable, kind, generous, calm, reliable, and he took clear, detailed notes on every little thing we wanted for our special day, especially with the unique aspects of our wedding. Kevin was also flexible with all the adjustments we made between the initial and final planning meeting, as well as the day of with having to push the schedule a little bit back for the photo/video team. Seeing everything I envisioned come to life thanks to Kevin was so magical. With an invite count of 199 guests and an attendance of 164 guests, we had 5 tables (~40-45 people) in the back area during reception that felt a bit far from the sweetheart table, so I would say this venue is ideally for a guest count of up to 120. But if you have more guests than that, I wouldn't make this a deal breaker. It was lively but not cramped, we had a great time, and those guests had no problem being closest to the bar hehe Genuinely from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU Orchard Wedgewood team for going above and beyond to make our dream wedding day absolute perfection!! Many of our guests said this was the best wedding they've attended, and I think that speaks volumes about what a stellar venue and team this is. In addition, we were worried about not having enough time with our photographer to complete the flat lays; Sheila accommodated this and allowed my husband and I to pick up the flat lay flowers the day before for this to be done (her idea!). Throughout the duration of time leading up to the big day, we were having difficulty finding a DJ and officiant. I reached out to Ari and she was able to provide a long list of referrals which ultimately led us to securing a great DJ. Ari is very organized and punctual--she provided a thorough document for us to fill out, which included things like our story, timeline (order of wedding party), and a list of decor and placement. We had a rehearsal the day before and Ari arrived early and provided a seamless run through. On our wedding day, everything was amazing. Let's just say Ari and her team knew the assignment. Ari and her team were so attentive and really made stress nonexistent. They coordinated with our vendors and set everything up as pictured. It was super windy that day and glasses were knocking down & a few shattered--Ari and her team quickly pivoted and got everything handled in no time. The florist also forgot our petals for the aisle, Ari caught that on the decor list and was able to handle that situation with the florist. Her team even offered to help me take pictures on my phone! So happy we booked Heather for WTW's month-of package. We were actually looking for a day-of…read morecoordinator but after speaking with Heather, we realized that month-of would be more beneficial especially with vendor logistic/timing (plus WTW prices were reasonable). Heather saw us 2x before the big day: final venue walk through and our rehearsal day. She was super organized during those 2 days and helped guide us with our venue and corral our entire wedding party during the rehearsal. Heather also provided us with a day-of timeline, even for the hours she was not physically at the venue. On the wedding day, she arrived with Annaleise (team member) around 3pm and immediately got to work with the decor set up before our 6pm ceremony. All we had to do was hand over our room key and off they went! To be honest, we were so busy that day that if we didn't have Heather helping us out, I'm not sure how we could've accomplished what we needed to do. No amount of uncles and aunties could've done what WTW did in the same amount of time hah. Plus we had a cocktail hour "flip" during our ceremony, so having WTW help us during that time was crucial. At the end of the night, all our items were returned to vendors or packed away in the boxes we brought them in and stored in our room. During the month of, WTW used Google's suite to keep everything organized and documented, which I found very helpful since its a program that I am familiar with (vs learning a new program). And Heather also provides some rentals if you want to add more to your decor, which was also VERY helpful when we needed more candles and stands. Heather is professional, calm, and assertive. She knows what needs to be done to help make your day run smoothly and is a team player with the vendors and venue. For reference, our wedding was in Riverside, a church ceremony, 8 people in the wedding party, 120 guests, ~10 vendors, plated meals, and a hotel venue reception. We had a couple funky additions in the night which made the reception feel nontraditional, but Heather handled them like it was normal.
