I think it's family-owned and a couple of employees are family members. They are always nice and helpful at checkout. I do think some of the clothing is overpriced but I also know that, on an island with few decent places to buy clothes, sometimes it's worth it to stop in and see what they have, regardless of price.

I always thought the clothes ran a bit small (probably just me now that I think about it lol) so I grabbed the size I thought looked right, which was the smallest I have ever been. It was way too big and I ended up happily crying in the dressing room. Now for why I shared that embarrassing story: I was completely frizzled when I went looking for a smaller size but the woman who helped me was very patient. I was kind of this weird happy-shocked and words just weren't coming out lol she helped me look for smaller sizes and grabbed 2 different sizes in each item. This business owner is relatively new to the Whidbey island community…read more The owners of this business is also engaging in buying pallets of illegal fireworks and this last week the genius decide to smoke dabs next to 700 pounds of fireworks that they had stored in the living room of their double wide. Then recently the "man " of the couple returned to smoke again on the property and start a fire. Our neighbors just below this load have told us that this guy was selling the fireworks that have made our street a war zone during the Fourth of July. It's been miserable here since this has proliferated!! This completely destroyed their recent home and the one next door displacing an 85 year old renter that doesn't know where she will go next. It also significantly destroyed the neighboring home on the other side of a valued community member that runs a non profit food pantry that has had to recently move operations to her home after at Mother's Day flood at the storefront in Langley. She is now being harassed by the owner with the smoking problem including a second fire set next to her fence gate. Read the news. Judge for yourself. This business in my opinion should not get any love or support in our community as they are more of a problem than a positive attribute! It's just an outsider with no concern except profit while living here.

They also have a large selection of household items, like dishes, bedding, towels, and small appliances. One thing I really appreciate is that they have dressing rooms so you can try things on! Some larger thrift stores have done completely away with this option, and while I understand why, I appreciate the ones who still have them. She looked very visibly angry when saying this. I apologized and told her that I genuinely thought this was one of the racks on display in the store and backed off it. I hadn't been here before so I didn't know the layout of the store. She didn't say anything to me after that and hurried off away? I tried to go through the rest of the store but, after that the vibe was just off and I had to leave. Not sure if I will come back. At least not for awhile. I was walking around with 5 tops and leggings when the staff offered to start a fitting room for me. They also asked me if I needed help finding anything in particular. It was hard to resist the tops, shorts, and leggings. The inventory is similar to the sale rack online and in regular Lululemon stores. But the discounts in the outlet store are way better. I got a Luxtreme sweater (sold online for $70) for about $59 USD. There were deals on the bras and shorts as well. There's a bunch of colors to choose from too! What made my shopping experience even better is my cashier, Dani. She gave me helpful advice and helped me score more deals at a higher discount. Also, if you love the Lululemon shopping bags... it's $0.08 per bag. Although this store charges for bags, it's a stylish reusable bag and much cheaper than other stores. I was charged $0.20 for a flimsy paper bag at another store, so the Lululemon bag is a better value.
