I don't know what happened to my original review but I wanted to update it anyway. I went to Dolores a couple of months ago because my hair was a mess. As you can see from the photos, Dolores really did a great job of healing and glamming my hair up, from a faded mess back to a vibrant red I thought I'd never see again. I recommended her to my sister when she wanted to dye her hair for the first time, in time for prom. From a photo my sister found online Dolores made my sister's wishes come true and she was so happy. I included a pic of her hair styled for prom so you can see the beautiful dimension. It was my first time coming to this location and I had a great experience. I came in as a walk in with no preferred stylist. Marina was very sweet and professional. I came in for a trim to get rid of all my dead ends. She was very helpful and showed me just how much needed to be cut off while still keeping my length. She took such great care of me I felt like I was in a high end salon. She gave me a very relaxing experience when washing my hair. It is evident that she takes pride in every aspect of her work. She took her time cutting my hair and very thorough. I absolutely love how mu hair came out. It feels so healthy and the layers blend perfectly. Thank you Marina! well mr.robert you will say anything to cover your liability get your facts straight everyone single employee and guest at that time saw how horrible my hair looked and how i was in tears at the hands of your employee. i didn't suggest nothing till 3 hours of sitting in the chair for a service that should have took 1 and a half hour with blowdry be a responsible owner dont make excuses so what i know a thing or two about hair services talking about privacy i still tipped your employees a total of 40 dollar's because i am a previous seasoned stylist and have respect for the craft. the lady who did my hair shouldn't be doing chemical services you know that i trusted a chain with my hair that failed miserably working for fantastic sam's in the past we never had clients put their heads upside down in the shampoo bowl to wash out chemicals bottom line i just wanted my hair done i wanted to feel pampered and good as i am unable to do hair anymore we should always walk out of a salon feeling great I didn't go into your shop bragging i know it all I left 5 hours later in tears why don't you review your video cameras and see how your stylist did my hair from start to end her way good luck to you mr. robert your wrong in your response an apology would have been proper read more

I don't feel comfortable getting my haircut anywhere else. the stylists here are all amazing. there are two in particular that seem to rise above the rest, leo and elisa-marie. when i go to leo i like to be the first one to get to this fantastic sam's because people are always requesting to get their hair cut/styled by her. she also does an amazing job of personalizing the experience. for example she knows i studied spanish and makes it a point to only speak to me in spanish while she's cutting my hair. she also always knows how i want my hair to look even more than i do. elisa-marie is just purely amazing with a pair of scissors. she's been cutting my hair since i was kid and i remember being amazed how fast she could move scissors, i'm still amazed. although she's fast she somehow is still able to pay attention to every single small detail. the best part about her is she keeps you laughing the entire time your butt is on that chair. i would definitely go on a tuesday or wednesday because they give an awesome discount those days. i went on a friday with a coupon and it still wasn't as affordable as the other days. read more

This has always been a "go-to" place for my entire family. The staff are all attentive, friendly and professional. We always get great service at this particular Fantastic Sam's location. We especially love Angelita who's a great asset at this location. She does everything from cuts, color to hair treatments for our entire family and we always get great results --that's why we keep coming back. We've tried other salons in the area and we don't get the same level of professionalism and good customer service. If Angelita is not available, their lineup of stylists are always willing to offer the same level of service to us loyal customers. Great job, Fantastic Sam's Glendora on Route 66. I found my new go to for my hair! It was my first time there. I was in need of a. Haircut with this pandemic! So, Leo took me in all within 5 minutes of getting there. She def listens to your request. I typically get my hair cut shorter than asked but today, Leo was did exactly what I asked. A trim and no length too short. The woman in charge today, Feb 9, was rather anti-social and somewhat grumpy... I went for the first (and last) time today when she told me she couldn't scan the coupon on my phone, that I would have to bring it in printed next time, then tapped her comb against the wall showing where a flyer was posted that mentioned the same subject of printing coupons. I have never had my hair done before and came to my appointment with dead ends and hair that had been in the sun for about four hours. I got to my appointment about five minutes early, and Rita instantly helped me out and got me in the chair. My daughter and myself have been steady customers for almost three years now. We both are extremely pleased with our stylist, Lola. If Lola for some reason is not available, the other stylists do an excellent job filling in for her. Lola makes us feel like part of her family. She always has a friendly disposition and is awesome at her job. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends. This will be my preferred salon for along time. ***FINAL REVIEW OF THE YELP 100 CHALLENGE FOR 2013!!!*** I feel like I've written the review for this place already, but alas I have not. I came here after my usual location, San Dimas, unceremoniously closed its doors in favor of moving locations. This particular location is definitely closer to my house, but it's really lacking. Coming here, I'm barely greeted before being told to wait. the stylists barely make conversation, save for the one who decided to coldly state, "you really have a lot of dandruff, what shampoo are you using?" Immediately knowing I was being pitched to in order to be sold their product, I answer my shampoo and shut myself up. I don't care if I have mountains of dandruff, I don't want to hear about it. There's really no nice way to announce it, so don't say anything at all. I get where you're coming from, it's gross (working with hair pretty much is), but I don't want to be talked down to in order to be sold a product. I hope the San Dimas location opens soon so I can go back to the stylists who know me and treat people with respect. read more

She didn't seem to know what she was doing. It seriously looks like she cut both sides of my head a different way. I am so sad how it turned out.
