Then say your nails are sensitive They talk about customers, they were laughing and pointing when I asked for a soak off. Don't go here Ik it's convenient & they used to be kind but def don't like customers that may give any sort of suggestion/corrections. UPDATE: But WAIT the owner reached out about me not "telling the truth". Because she didn't want to rectify the problem I'm here to show you our nails "that we apparently did not tell the truth about". That's what our nails looked like after 4 to 5 days. Fantasy nail definitely surprised me! I'm in town for a week and i needed to get a set done before a trip. I haven't had my nails done in years so this was a big move for me. Pros: quality work at a good price. Loved my set and it was only $75! Especially for an airbrush style. let's see how long it lasts. There was a lot of space and chair for services. Equipment looked up to date and well kept. Cons: I waited a bit (maybe 30 mins) before i got in a chair. I was a walk-in so it could have been worse. HORRIBLE. The service isn't what it used to be. I got my nails done (full set & pedi) a few days ago for a special event. Take a look at the pictures. The lights are dim inside of the salon, so I didn't see the actual results until I got in the car and started driving home. I was running very late, so I couldn't go back to the salon and get them redone. I ended up wearing closed-toe shoes that evening, to hide my toes. I soaked & removed the full set the very next day. The only thing I really had an issue with was the fact that I had to find the gel color to match the polish of my toes that I picked. That was different for me. I decided to go get a pedicure and refill. First let me say if I could post with out giving stars I would. But I sat for over an hour. When it was my turn the women decided to take someone else that just walked in. I mentioned that it was my turn and what I wanted done. She said she was doing a pedi I stated that's what I needed done. She continue take the women; like I wasn't speaking or standing here. This is by far the worst experiences I've ever received. I went in for a chiffon shape full set and pedicure. After waiting for nearly an hour to be seated.My nails for the full set were uneven, crooked, with air bubbles inside and I had to literally stop the woman from working and file it myself!!! I went today earlier, there was no customers. I did not have to wait long. I had one lady I don't know her name and at first everything was fine. However I did notice she would get extremely distracted because of her phone. Multiple times I would have people come up and stand behind her to look at what she was doing. I paid no mind. I selected a color everything great. However after I noticed she had somehow brushed acrylic onto every single one of my nails making my fingers look extremely dry. I got gel. Looking at it closely right now my nails are crooked they are filed incorrectly and almost every single onw of my nails have bubbles in them. This establishment is curbside garbage. Dont be fooled by the renovations. My sis and I got our nails done and this was the worst job I've ever had. I wish I could leave a negative rating. Completely rushed job. They soaked my nails in 2 sandwich bags with soapy water in it. WTF?? You guys dont have any bowls???? They tried to paint my nails without letting me wash my hands after they filed them. I asked "dont I need to wash my hands?" they said no, that they already sprayed alcohol on my hands so there was no need. I've patronized Fantasy Nails for over ten years... since before the remodel with the fancy chairs and upscale salon look and all that jazz. I've gone here for so long because I've consistently received great service. Some technicians are better than others in any salon. Helen was my personal favorite, but I would also recommend Angela or Tracy. Honestly, I don't think there's anyone I wouldn't go to in a pinch. They have a great selection of colors, great prices ($30 for mani/pedi, sometimes on special for $20), and are well-staffed enough so that there is rarely much of a wait. I used to go every other week for a basic mani/ pedi, but have also gotten my brows done many times over the years, and sometimes splurge on the "spa pedicure". I've been satisfied each time. I've moved too far to use Fantasy Nails regularly, but plan to hike back out there for their great service and great prices. The only thing is that I don't think you can tip on credit cards, so you'll want to have cash with you, at least for the tip. I had a pedicure. the good: it's a big place, they were not busy on a Sunday, and the price is right. the bad: no OPI polishes, and the polish I chose gave me white spots. The new formulas don't give me white spots, so I managed to pick a polish that's either cheap or old. She did not cut my nails. A week later I did it myself, wrecking the pedicure. Even though the place was not busy, she rushed the pedicure. I was disappointed; I don't expect the "spa experience" for $20, but I would have appreciated her not rushing through it. I asked for a pedicure and fullset. Nancy was my technician coming here my second time and I absolutely loved her. After she did a great job on my pedi I then asked her what she thought would be best for my nails being that they were pretty long in length. She suggested gel nails so my natural nail bed would not be messed up. $2 difference from getting a full set but worth it if you want to save your nails. She was very attentive and wanted to make sure she cleaned up anything wrong with my gel manicure. Nancy also gave me a complimentary massage w/o me even asking. Today I thought I would treat myself for pedicure and full set. When I got to the place I was disappointed with the salon. Already in head of my was 5 people for a full set and other nails service (fill ins). They didn't knowledge their customers that walked in nor asked them to sign in. One tech asked if any one was getting a pedicure and I spoke up answered. The lady looked at me and said no and sat down. If this couldn't have gotten worst. The lady who did my pedicure left old polish on my feet. The reason I went in for the first place to take advantage of the special, which took another 1hr. and 30 mins. This took up a lot of my time of the day. The manager or owner couldn't not apologize for all that happen. The customer service here was horrible. Places like this give other salon a bad reputation around that area. No one should leave the salon after being there for 2and a half hours waiting on 2 services. I've been to this salon a handful of times. I keep coming back because of the really cheap prices. They used to offer $20 mani/pedis during the weekday, but they've since upped their price to $25. That's still cheap. However, I have learned my lesson that you really do get what you pay for. My basic pedi didn't even include a foot massage. In fact, he didn't even put any lotion on my feet! It was all done in less than 15 minutes. My mani was also very basic, with no lotion and no hand massage. I finally questioned why I wasn't get a massage, and he answered b/c basic manis don't include massages. Sure enough, after looking at their price list, massages cost extra. Bottom line: if you want anything more than just polish, and basic nail trimming, you need to opt for one of the more expensive services. The salon also reeks of cheapness, but they try to hide it. They wrap their pedicure utensils in saran wrap as if to look like they're "fresh", but you can clearly see their pumice sponge is worn down from lots of use. Who do they think they're fooling? Also, when I was getting my mani, instead of a bowl to soak my nails, they used a sandwich bag filled with water and soap. After this trip, I've realized if I'm going to treat myself to mani/pedis, I'll do it at a more expensive place. This is not worth saving $!!! read more

Kathy (the owner), Angela, and Lynn are all really good. I am a fan of Tracy. She is fast (mani/pedi and eyebrows in about an hour) but for the price ($20 for a mani/pedi), I really can't complain. My nails and hands have taken a beating due to the cold weather, so I decided to treat myself to a manicure. Today I went in for a gel manicure, might I add my first one. It came out AMAZING!! I picked a soft pink color and the technician Andrew did an awesome job. He didn't try to sell me any other services he just focused on what I asked him to do. I felt no pressure. Also the price is great. Where else can you get a gel manicure for $25? I made sure to tip him well. I needed a quick manicure and it was late so decided to go here, even though I'm extremely picky, but settled with this location. My tech was Henry. he did an "A-OK" job. meaning he was nice, he opened all his tools in front of me. didn't talk much, so customer experience was whatever. I got a simple manicure 10$ had some nail polish on the edges and wasn't cleaned so eh. I could probably done it myself. not really "you get what you pay" for because you could do yourself what he did. I hate being a negative Nancy so yeah he did OK. the weird thing was instead of sending me over to wash my hands he had a bag with warm water and soap so i could dip it and soak while he worked with my other hand not massage nothing. probably like 20-30 min. job. the place doesn't seem clean, only clean would be the tech if they keep their things clean.
