This was my first time trying this restaurant. I really wanted to give it a chance as I live in Scotts Valley. A business associate of mine loved Korean food and took lead in ordering. I tried Bulgogi sushi for the first time. Everything was ok until i started packing my food up and saw a hair intertwined with the sushi that I had just ate. I have never been so grossed out before. I alerted the waiter and he brought it over to the man behind the sushi counter. Since we already paid (and tipped generously) he didn't even bother to offer to refund us...instead they asked us if we wanted a complimentary dessert. I didn't want to make a big deal, so we said yes. They literally brought out two tiny tiny green tea mochi ice cream balls on a plate. I'm so disappointed and grossed out. read more

Hank and Young are the working owners, and are genuinely friendly and involved with their business. They want you to be pleased and to have a tasty and memorable dining experience. Bento boxes are a good way to experience their cuisine initially, and make for a quite balanced meal. Many options to choose from. All in all, a good deal for fresh and tasty cuisine. I went there a few weeks after opening and ordered the "spicy pork". I was very disappointed I the meal. While cooked perfectly, there was no, NO spice to be tasted. When I asked the server for something to spice it up with, she came back with a paste that was just as bland. Everything else with the meal was fine, just disappointed the main item fell flat.
