Dr. McCluskey is just kind and awesome and has made me super comfortable throughout my entire pregnancy. Would highly recommend her to anyone! My one complaint about the office is that I knew my insurance wasn't active until the 6th of January but I needed to get in sooner. I asked how much a first time prenatal appointment would cost so I could get in ASAP and just pay out of pocket. I was told it'd be around $200. During the appointment they did blood and various lab work that was sent to third parties. I paid my $200 thinking I was done but definitely not. That "$200 appointment" ultimately cost me about $950 out of pocket and there was nothing I could do to argue it. I just had to pay. I would've never agreed to the appointment if I had known. Without working in a doctors office or insurance company I had no idea this could happen. So I think someone should really explain to patients how billing works for the uninsured before proceeding with anything!! Other than that the office is friendly, responsive and again McCluskey is awesome! read more

Appointments are routinely rescheduled, no one answers the phone, you get put into a hold queue only to be hung up on. While I personally like Dr. McAfee, the way the office is run is utterly atrocious. read more

I loved my doctor here, she was really kind and helpful, but.... the office was super hard to get ahold of over the phone, impossible to get an appointment that isn't weeks away, and unorganized with my information. If you aren't pregnant and don't plan to be DON'T go to this practice- they won't help you when you really need it or prioritize your care. read more

Worst experience I've ever had after years of yearly exams. The office staff was not welcoming, and they took my photo without telling me why. The exam rooms were dimly lit. I was prescribed a birth control that cost $208 AFTER insurance and a discount card from the doc. When I called to get a different one they acted like I was too stupid to use the coupon they gave me. I made an appointment with this office back in September. I couldn't get in until today. Hmm..... Where should I start... I was sent to the WRONG PLACE! THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG ADDRESS! (I live in Fairborn) and I had to drive to the first place they gave me the address for, just to find out it wasn't there! Then when I drove almost 40 minutes to the actual address, they told me they didn't accept my medical insurance! But when I called to first set up my appointment, I was told that they did! I was so mad! Then told me I had to pay a $200 co-pay?! Yeah, I don't think so! And the staff.... TALK ABOUT RUDE! Worst place I have ever been! I will NEVER be going back there! Very unimpressed! My review is in regards to Dr. Kennebeck other staff may be great. However, my wait time was always 45+ minutes from my appointment time. First off, more than once testing that Dr. Kennebeck mentioned she wanted was not done until I asked what about XYZ as I was checking out. Most importantly, amongst many other tests, I had an HSG (an invasive and expensive test) ordered by Dr, Kennebeck in 2017. Prior to that test, she prefaced the importance of making sure I had prior testing done or it could cause a life-threatening infection. The day before the HSG I received a call that oops, we forgot to give you the prerequisite tests at your prior appointment so can I make an additional trip in? She recommended a course of action based on the HSG test Instead of following her advice, I wanted a second opinion about my treatment. When I asked for my prior records from Far Hills I wasn't given my films from the HSG. I asked Far Hills why? I was told they didn't have them. They just take the radiologist's word as to what is going on. My doctor, Dr. Kennebeck, who I trusted, never even personally reviewed the film for the test she ordered?! She recommended a course of action based on test results she didn't review! Instead, unbeknownst to me I was trusting a radiologist whose name and education I didn't even know! I went to Kettering Hospital and picked up my films. Shortly thereafter, my new doctor reviewed the films with me. He noticed a polyp that had been missed because Dr. Kennebeck didn't care enough to even look at the film. Thank God the polyp was benign! Otherwise, it would have been there an extra year. I've seen Dr. Kennebeck for years. She is highly diagnostic and found issues no other GYN was able to diagnose. With that being said, the longer I am a patient, the worse the service becomes. I believe, as another reviewer expressed, if you are not in your reproductive years or don't plan to reproduce, you become unimportant. I have had to wait over 3 months for an appt. for my yearly and then was rescheduled. I don't feel I'm important at this practice. I'm also placed on hold for over 20 minutes when I call and then get transferred to a locations that doesn't even serve Far Hills OB/GYN when I complain about the wait time. read more

Been going for years. I really like Dr Milstead, however it takes 3 months to get an appointment for an annual exam. Office staff totally different story. They are not helpful, feel like you are putting them out when interacting. Last year it took me many calls, emails etc to get a prescription issue resolved. I have gone to this practice since before I relocated to Dayton. I was never able to find a gynecologist in Cincinnati that I liked. I loved Dr. Shie who has since retired. Dr. McCluskey is equally wonderful. My father who is a retired OB-Gyn highly recommended her and I can see why. read more

I recently started going to Dr.Shie and regret not having gone sooner because I would of loved to have had my daughter with the practice. The office is great, very helpful from Megan to Beth (that is making my apt for surgery).. They are sweethearts and go out of there way to relay a message to Dr.Shie or just make me feel at ease. I will never set foot in this practice again. First let me say Dr. McCluskey is a good doctor, but Dr. Shie ruined it for me. I called while he was on call and he was disrespectful, cruel, and downright rude. He was impatient, and frankly I have no idea why he is allowed to practice with the way he disrespects women. I am 40 and he said I better come in and get a donor because I don't have the luxury of time, finding someone I love to be with. He made implications that are so rude towards a woman, I seriously am shocked they allow him to practice. I would love to know how man other people have had a similar interaction. read more

I do not weigh in at doctors offices since I am recovering from an eating disorder and when I told the nurse I did not want to weigh in she got an instant attitude and said, "Well then your claim may not be covered by insurance since it will be missing that information". I have never had an office tell me that, and I could have given what my weight was but after feeling pressured I got on the scale and afterwards I quietly cried while the insensitive, cold nurse asked me questions without batting an eye. If you want to work in healthcare you must be compassionate to people's struggles even if you do not understand them. The doctor was no better. She referred me to a medication saying it had no side effects even when I told her I had a history of depression. This medication increases depression and suicidal thoughts, I found that easily on my own. This office has zero concern or compassion for their patients. read more
