I forgot the man's name who got us a wonderful breakfast every morning, but he was amazing as well. This hotel is tucked away right off the main path and beach, and is a little peace of serenity and quiet in bustling/lively Ölü Deniz. The rooms are large enough for two people, are equipped with a mini fridge, and overlook an incredibly landscaped and stunningly decorated pool area. Seriously, the outdoor living spaces are a thing of beauty! The town of Ölü Deniz was too busy and touristy for me, but I loved every peaceful, quiet minute I spent at the hotel. Thanks to Jade Reaidence for making our stay in Turkey wonderful!

The manager is very hands on and accommodating to all our needs. Word of caution: no kiddies allowed. We pay about $100 a night. Make sure to sign up to skydive or at least rent a car n drive up to the mtn where the launch pad for the skydriving is located. The view is totally worth it.

(somehow my review did not post in a timely manner so now in December 2023, it's a bit late) My husband and I stayed in Sugar Beach Club bungalow # A4. It was clean, comfortable, cozy and so quiet! The bed was very nice. The room was equipped with everything (including a refrigerator) you need to make your stay an enjoyable one. The price was such a good value! What a deal. Wow. And thankfully, the location was amazing, away from the overly busy 'Las Vegas' style Ölüdeniz Beach town. Easy walk to/from town which we did daily and easy access to hike up over the mountain to the abandoned village of Kayaköy along with parts of the Lycian Way trek (highly recommended!!). On arrival, we were greeted by the nicest young man at the front desk and made to feel so welcomed with how friendly he was to us. Sadly I didn't get his name but he was great whenever we needed anything over our entire 5 night stay. He and his staff have everything dialed in. We loved our little 'beach hut'. The porch was lovely to sit outside and read while listening to the sounds of nature. And of course, we are crazy cat people so armed with our bags of cat food, we loved our visitors to our patio. We definitely enjoyed the most AMAZING breakfast (included in the stay) each morning. We spent over a month in Türkiye which most of our stays included a breakfast but this one was top notch! Something for everyone. And prepared by a great kitchen staff that work so hard to satisfy their guests. The menu was fresh, tasty, large and varied with something for everyone, even vegetarians. It's astonishing to think this is included. The restaurant is managed by such an incredible man, Dincer. He and his staff really care about you, the guests. He was there each morning and greeted us like long lost family! Of course always with a big smile. We absolutely adored one server, a young woman named Ayse. She had a smile on her face each and every time we saw her. And she remembered our names, our likes/dislikes and took the time to engage in conversation. Such a sweet young woman. Plus, she (tried) to teach me how to read my fortune in my Türkish Coffee grounds!! It was a fun experience! Being hotel guests allowed us access to their beach chairs, towels and umbrellas along the Blue Lagoon. We never stay in places like this which made this a big bonus for us. Loved our hours sitting in the sunshine, swimming or paddle boarding in the lagoon. We were taken care of by a great group of young men at beachside. These men work so so hard to make your holiday great! They have the best Mango-Lemon-Tea at beachside. We got to know one young man Ahmet and wow!!! What a gem. Kind, considerate and a very hard worker. He even worked with the restaurant/bar manager Dincer to change out the non-fitting lounge type music to Bob Marley Reggae rhythms so everyone could enjoy the 'beach vibe' in a more fitting way!! (thanks Ahmet & Dincer!!). Only negative is a huge influx of very rude day trippers that bus in from somewhere. They are extremely loud and arrogant and seem to disrespect the hard working staff and environment. But that's a pet-peeve of mine that I hate to see happen to 'local' staff. We would love to return. Sugar Beach and all of Türkiye stole a piece of our hearts. We are lifelong Californians, retired and in our 6th year of full time travels all over the world. We really hope our journey brings us back to our little beach shack. And definitely want it to include Reggae music...just for us!

Our dinner was delicious and the price was right. The room, on the side of the hotel, was modern and cool looking but rather small. Take a harbour view room if you can afford it as you will have a lovely balcony and a wonderful view. The pool area was an oasis but the water was freezing...perhaps too early in the season for swimming in spite of the 32C weather.

Shortly after booking we I received an email from the hotel manager Mohammed, to tell me that he had put us in one of the slightly bigger rooms with a nice view. What a nice gesture. the room was indeed very spacious, including a terrace. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and the room service every two days did a great job. The interiors will need a make over in the near future, but for now are still fine. Extra towels for the pool or beach were provided as well. The breakfast was very good too. A variety of breads, jams, olives, cheeses, sausage, müsli, yoghurt, honey, fruits and eggs. One day they were out of boiled eggs when we arrived, so Mohammed the manager immediately offered us an omelet. I had cheese and onion omelet and it was the best I had during all our time in Turkey (his mom is in the kitchen). He was also very helpful when we needed information on what we could do in and around the area, besides going to Patara Beach. He told us about Kaputas beach, nearby sand dunes and a beach where we were the only ones around and many more. The hotel pool was very clean and equipped with boogie boards and children's swimming aids. The hotel also offered a BBQ every other night. We never made it or had eaten before, but we're having a drink there one night when they had the BBQ. They sent us some of the starters so we could try and they were delicious. The same can be said about the dinner we had one night at the hotel (köfte and shrimp casserole). We really enjoyed our stay at the Pataros hotel and the hospitality of the place was fantastic. We would definitely come back and can recommend the place.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! This has been one of the…read moreworst hotel experiences of my life! I stayed for a bit and initially liked it, so I extended my stay. that was where I went horribly wrong. The hotel manager - i think his name is Yavus - booked me for the extension and was EXTREMELY rude. I really should have cursed him out and walked out then. A few days later, he insisted I change rooms immediately because my room needed to be painted. I was starving and on my way to lunch, but again, I said nothing. The toilet in the new room was disgusting. I asked that the staff clean the toilet. When I got back in, a few hours later, they hadn't cleaned the toilet, but had doused the entire bathroom with water - even the toilet seat. Again, the toilet was filthy. After that, my door refused to lock. Yavuz saw me having problems with the door. He concluded that it needed batteries and said he would take care of it later. I told him I wasn't comfortable leaving my things behind an unlocked door. He told me there were cameras in every hallway and that he would definitely take care of it. I show up to my room 7 hours later and the door is not yet fixed. I call down and explain this to them in what little Turkish I know. I tell them the "room won't close"...they say they will send someone up immediately. Half an hour later, I call back and explain to them that the problem is the door. They finally send someone up. I show the guy that the door opens without a keycard. He simply looks at me and says to use the deadbolt instead. I try to explain that as a paying customer and single woman, I need a locking door. Yavuz runs in with a screwdriver and starts taking the batteries out of the door lock. At that point, I just started cursing him out, but he didn't understand a word of it. He just smiled and nodded and tried to pretend that he came back "later" as he had promised. "Later" is not supposed to be 7 hours later. A day later, the upstairs toilet started leaking onto my toilet. I realized that if I called them, they would do nothing about it, so I told them I needed a new room. After a day, I was allowed to move back into my old room. It had just been painted and was covered in paint fumes - and I have asthma. I tried to explain this to the concierge but, once again, she looked at me like a deer in headlights . She was, however, absolutely insistent that the maid come clean the two specks of dirt on the balcony. DO NOT STAY HERE! JUST DON'T DO IT!
