To know especially that these are rescued animals and are being taken care of so carefully, giving us the privilege of being able to give them our love as well, it was a heartwarming experience. Plenty of free parking available right infront of the sanctuary. There is a cute little shop attached to the sanctuary, where you can buy their handmade truffle chocolates which are so delicious (coming from someone who isn't a fan of truffle chocolates), fresh farm eggs, honey, and other delicacies. With your zoo "ticket" you get 2 free samples of their chocolates and a hefty bag of feed for the animals. The animals are mostly in their own pens, with some together. There's even a couple of the pigs you'll find out of pens, just hanging out on the property, laying beside the building. You're able to go into the tortoise pen and feed/pet him as well, 2 people at a time inside the pen, as he does get anxious. You're not able to feed all of the animals, but for the most part you can. Each pen has a sign for which animals are ok to feed/pet and which are not. They are very calm and friendly, as long as you are too. They take the feed very gently and don't bite your fingers. On the weekends they offer pizza made fresh for the visitors, and have plenty of covered outdoor seating options to enjoy. They also offer wine tasting, but we did not partake, as we had just left a winery, but I'm sure it is quite enjoyable as well. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area and it's a 5 minute drive from the wineries!

I was tempted and seduced with a Banana Truffle, and then I needed more, more, more. We spent more on chocolates than we did touring the animals, and it was worth EVERY penny!!! The animals they have here are all rescues, and many of them have issues, but they have a loving forever home here. With the exception of the Camel and the Bison, we own many of these animals ourselves, but still enjoy interacting with and feeding them. They all were such characters. One of the Alpacas is hysterical, absolutely LOVED him/her, with the goofiest teeth. They all take the treats so nicely and have soft mouths. I got to pet a Zebra (oh yeah, we don't have one of those either). The zebra is so cool and lives in a corral with a Zorse- such a fun experience. I don't care if you already own livestock; this place is a cool spot to stop in, and if nothing else, buy yourself some of the best chocolates you will ever have. When in season, they have Emu eggs available.

It feels safer than other indoor playgrounds we have been to. It can def get crowded when there's a birthday party going on. Multiple hand sanitizers and air purifiers around the place. The play area is very clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciate. I think this concept is best suited for children between 1 and 3 years old. Older kids may get bored after a while since there aren't many activities available for them. The staff members are friendly, helpful, and attentive. They made us feel welcome and were always willing to assist. The drinks were not my favorite, but since the kids get an hour of playtime, I ended up purchasing something while waiting for them to play. As for pricing, it seems comparable to other indoor playgrounds in the area. Overall, it's a nice and clean place for younger children to have fun.

We ended up having my daughter's birthday here. Unfortunately, the ladies that were in charge of…read moreher birthday didn't have as much energy as I had seen in other birthday parties. (I put in the request via email about people with a good amount of energy, since I noticed a different in two parties I had been to, but none of the requests that I had placed via email mattered. I asked for high energy and mentioned that my daughter loves music, and they had lower energy and had to ask them to turn up the music. I mentioned that we didn't need a cake since she was getting one later, and they brought a cake.) At some point during the birthday party, I had to actually ask one of the ladies there to turn up the music because we could hardly hear it. That was really disappointing since my daughter really loves music (which I had mentioned in my email to them earlier that week). They didn't do any singing or karaoke since we hardly even heard the music. Super disappointing. It's cute in the sense that the kiddos can dress up and get their makeup and hair done and they did a great job at that part. I also liked that they took photos and then airdropped them to your phone after. The way it's set up, the birthday kiddo rings a bell to ask for more food or whatnot for her friends. The whole set up honestly doesn't seem to foster the values I want in my kiddo, but for a one time thing, I suppose it can make the birthday kiddo special. I feel like they could do something more fun like ringing the bell each time someone said birthday or something to that effect. Given my experiences here as the host of a birthday, it's cute but wouldn't do a birthday or event here again just given the overall service. Also, you'll end up tipping the people helping out, and that will be extra (I think we paid almost an extra 100). From a parent perspective, it's a little awkward. You are told to put "drop offs encouraged" but a lot of PV moms end up hanging out or not knowing if they should stay or go. I've paid similar amounts to other types of birthdays and have definitely felt like the value was worth it. This place, not entirely sure, but understand it's an institution and place of tradition in the area. You have to bring your own food, but they don't serve cake. Make sure you bring socks.

The lady who does the makeup, acting and orchestrating the flow of the party was pretty amazing and in character at all times. She was quick on her feet and funny. The interior was a little girl's fantasy world. They had costumes for boys too that included Mickey Mouse. There were tons of Princess dresses and matching footwear from sandals to heels to boots. The sizes ranged as well from little toddler girls to bigger girls. There's a fashion show room with a stage and tons of stuff to look at. The tea party room had a whimsical giant heart shaped table. The party I went to had a princess character do story time but I'm unsure if she's provided with the venue or if that's from a separate agency. It seemed like the Princess was familiar with the space. The makeup room was fun with two makeup artists. The girls got to do their hair, nails and makeup (or face stickers). The bad: I wish they tried a little harder to involve my shy kid. I know they don't have time to spend coddling shy children nor do they want to be pushy but I think a little encouragement would've helped with a few of the kids. The interesting: They don't allow kids to eat messy cake so they instead have a candy plate with cotton candy, sour rope, icing covered animal crackers, cookies and more. The teapots don't have lids (perhaps for quicker refills and because toddlers might not know to place their other hand on top to prevent the lid from falling).

What was most disappointing was how the situation was handled when another party arrived. Although the staff knew the space had been reserved for a later group, no one gave us any advance warning that our time was about to end. A simple 10-20 minute reminder would have allowed us to finish decorating our cake and clean up properly. Instead, we were suddenly rushed to wrap everything up, and our birthday cake was not even finished. A staff member came over and told us, "You have to leave RIGHT NOW, the party has arrived," and we were essentially forced out to make room for the next group. This was especially upsetting because the cake was for a birthday and the experience meant a lot to us. What should have been a fun celebration ended in unnecessary stress and disappointment. Better communication and a little more consideration would have made a huge difference. ---------------------------- Updating my review: although our experience in the store was disappointing, the owner responded very quickly, took our concerns seriously, and resolved the issue in less than a day. I really appreciate their professionalism and efficiency. Thank you for addressing the problem so promptly and for being willing to improve the customer experience moving forward.

When I went to use the membership for the first time, I arrived with my two sons after checking the business hours on Facebook and Instagram. When we got there, a man was doing maintenance on the playground and told us it would be about an hour before we could enter. My son, who has autism, was understandably upset, so I took him next door to the pet store to help distract him while we waited. After an hour, we returned--only to be told it would be another 30 minutes. At that point, I asked if my sons' memberships were active through Regional Center. The employee flipped through a notebook and couldn't even locate one of my son's memberships. We left because my son's patience was gone, which is directly related to his autism. This entire experience left a very sour taste. If a business offers social recreation services through Regional Center, accurate hours and organized membership records are essential. What's even more upsetting is that I later discovered Regional Center was charged for six months of membership, even though we never attended or used the membership at all. I never signed a contract agreeing to ongoing charges. I also received a text stating the membership would not be active if we didn't attend--yet they still billed Regional Center. Also, never extended services. Between the inaccurate hours, lack of accommodation, disorganization, and billing issues, I would not recommend this business to Regional Center families.

The see-thru slide was aesthetically pleasing. The climbings areas are large enough for parents to come in to supervise little ones. There were lots of different ride-on cars and vehicles. There were pretend play kitchen areas. They sold mini pancakes that looked fun. The bad: I tried to order 3 specialty drinks but they didn't have all 3. The strawberry smoothie was quite sweet. There are areas of the playground that are a bit run down or could use some revamping. There was often a wait for the bathroom. The ground was slippery in some areas. I wish they sold savory foods as well. The interesting: They were having an event that day with pop-up vendors that sold craft goods like drawings and knitted clothes. They also had a popup taco caterer outside.

More importantly, we laughed and had a great time. When we arrived early in the morning, the temperature was 35 degrees and overcast. If you plan to visit here anytime soon, BRING a jacket as you WILL feel the chill the second you open your car door. It was pretty chilly, but it felt GREAT as the air was crisp and fresh. I read the many negative Yelp reviews regarding an additional fee to visit the upper area. Thank goodness they were not charging during our visit, as we would have done exactly what many other visitors did before us and left. The small shops were lovely to visit, as all the items sold are handmade and, surprisingly, very affordable. One shop was offering 50% off EVERYTHING, so my family and friends definitely took advantage of the savings. This is a fun place to visit and to get away from it all for a few hours, as long as they do not charge visitors any additional fees, including parking, which, during our visit, was free. Thank goodness for anything free nowadays.

I presented an expired Groupon and asked that they honor it as cash (not for the purchased deal, which was no longer available) and the manager wouldn't do it, despite that being Groupon's policy (from Groupon's virtual assistant, "The paid value ($54.99) never expires. You can still use it directly with the merchant by presenting your voucher via the mobile app or as a printout upon arrival"). Many of the games at the location were non-operable, and they removed some of our old favorites and replaced them with pay-to-play games (e.g., a huge claw machine game that only took cash). They also changed the case of items that could be redeemed with tickets so that some can now only be purchased with cash. We ordered three pizzas, including one personal gluten free pizza. The pizza was small (the size of one of their serving plates) and was about $17 for cheese and sausage. This place was previously expensive, but worth it -- now it's just ridiculous. It was extremely noisy and we saw a dad take a picture of himself at the Chuck E. Cheese picture station flipping off the camera... I mean, not the best for a place that caters to kids. We won't be back. :(
