One of my favorite vendors is the man with the soup. He also offered other things like lasagna, risotto, quiche... but my God! His tomato soup is out of this world. Topped with some pumpkin seeds and complimentary bread, it's the perfect lunch. Also, his partner makes amazing veggie quinoa burgers that are just perfection and so juicy and satisfying- even for a meat eater! Seriously one of the best things I have ever put into my mouth.
The French bakery vendor with a super sweet bouncy blonde lady is also a superb standout. Try the colossal almond croissants. At about 50kc ($2), they aren't cheap but OMG they are amazing. Lightly filled with some sort of sweet almond butter paste.
If it's available, be sure to try some pumpkin seed oil! It's a super savory oil that is delicious with bread or on dark green salads.
You can easily get here by taking the A line to Jiriho z Podebrad. If you're just visiting, I highly recommend you stop here for lunch. It's a great way to experience the real side of Prague, mingle with locals, and try so many delicious foods and drinks at unbearable prices.
