Mostly through non-verbal communication, I explained what I needed to the clerk, who had me sit on a short stool in a semi-private area. He came over with a compressive support brace for my ankle and let me try it on. It fit perfectly and really helped with the pain, so I wore it out of the pharmacy. I believe it was 14 euro. They always had what we needed--especially diapers!…read morePlus, the diapers here (and I think at all pharmacies) are cheaper than at the grocery stores. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and very friendly. They know their stuff whenever we have questions about both prescription and over-the-counter medicine, which is especially comforting while we live thousands of miles away from where we call home! They have a weird period where they're closed from either 2 - 3pm or 3 - 4pm, I forget the time exactly. But they stay open relatively late (either close at 8 or 9pm). Unfortunately, they are closed on Sunday.

This is a really convenient pharmacy as it is around the corner from our place and is open late at…read morenight almost every day. The only problem I find is that the staff is not so nice. At all pharmacies in Italy, you can ask their pharmacists advice about some ailment you may be having and they will gladly recommend a product. But at Cortesi, I tend to avoid asking anything at all since they don't tend to be friendly or helpful. However, they will order any medicine or product they do not have in stock and it will arrive within a day or two. All in all, it serves it's purpose, as long as you don't expect service with a smile!
