THERE IS A REASON WHY THIS PLACE HAS POOR RATINGS!! Took advantage of the "1040" promo for 4 Breakfast Burritos. 3 Bacon and 1 Chile with Pepper Jack. The 3 Bacon were all different weights!! Yes, we weighed when we got home!. 11 ounces, 13 ounces and 17 ounces. WHY? The Chile had an extra charge of $1.20? No mention when ordering, and not on app as an extra charge, but then there are no prices! These are some of the worst burritos we've ever had! The Chile, with a true cost of $11.19, has to be the highest priced Burrito in town, with NO MEAT! Why would anyone pay the normal price? Not satisfied with the purchase, why would I even come back? Terrible. Don't waste your time or money. For better, go to The Habit or In-N-Out. We ordered two cheeseburgers, two orders of zucchini, and two drinks. One diet Pepsi, one regular Pepsi. EVERYTHING tasted bad and wrong. The whole experience was bad. 1. Packaging. The entire order was stuffed into one bag. By the time we got it home (5 minutes after receiving) the bag had split in two places, I got a stain on my jeans, and the inside bags of zucchini were also ripped and shredded. 2. Food itself was messy and tasteless. Burgers were messy, with bits of onion coming out at each bite along with a much larger bun than what is needed to accommodate the burger. Zucchini was nasty. It was encased in a tasteless breading that simply fell off with each attempt to eat it. Temperatures were off too. Outside the zucchini was lukewarm, inside, zucchini was piping hot. The pieces are too large to eat comfortably because of what happens after they are made the Farmer Boys way, it was a mess and 90% of that went in the trash. Finally, the drinks were lacking carbonation. I mean, NOTHING in the order was a win. Finally, customer service was lacking. We said it was our first time there and got no help or suggestions. Plus, whoever packed that bag was just so wrong. All that messy food stuffed into a small bag smashed the burgers, made all the paper tear and get everywhere and just really made it a bad experience to carry, hold, unpack and eat. There was no thought of service in this. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Farmer Boys and do not recommend it to anyone else. For better burgers prices packaging and customer service, I recommend In-N-Out. For better packaging, prices, customer service, food, and comparable menu items I suggest The Habit. This place is way to expensive for what you get. There new chicken sandwich is NO BUENO. Your better off buying one from Jack in the Box from the cheap menu side, it will taste better. Sorry, but I was really hoping this was going to be a big chicken sandwich with great taste after seeing the commercial. What you get is a small/flat ass sandwich with no taste. Chick-fil-A and Popeyes still have the best chicken sandwiches that are priced around $4.30. 3 chicken sandwiches and 2 chili fry's came out to $37. With a coupon I was able to buy a Farmer Burger, small soda and a zucchini for $10. The burger looked like the advertisement at this location. It was a pleasant surprise to get a Farmer Burger that looked and tasted like I remembered as a kid with my parents. A Burger you could barely hold with one large hand, usually needing two hands. If you have notice that the prices on the menu of the Hemet and San Jacinto Farmer Boys differ; they do. Hemet Farmer Boys is a franchise and San Jacinto Farmer Boys is Corporate owned. This is why the Hemet location is about 3 to 4 dollars more on each of the normal priced burgers than the San Jacinto location. In fact, just about everything is more expensive at the Hemet location. You will probably spent about 15 to 20 dollars more for a family of 4 at the Hemet location. If you just drive a few miles northeast in the valley, you will save a ton of money. Seniors and young families have very tight budgets and eating out these days is a luxury. I am appalled at the price difference between the 2 locations just miles apart. You may want to call this greed, but it is uncalled for. You need to go online an see the difference as I did today. Shame on you franchise owner, shame !!! To start out with, I live in Hemet Ca, not San Francisco Ca. Yelp must have had a flinch. My food was tasty as always. The prices here are about 25 to 30 percent higher than the location just a few miles from the San Jacinto Ca. I checked the menus online for ordering and I confirmed this on 3-26-2024. I feel like I was just cheated. Beware, Beware, Beware, of the Hemet Ca. location. Remember, the prices on the Farmer Boys in San Jacinto Ca. menu are much cheaper than the location on Sanderson in Hemet Ca. Save some money driving a few miles more !! I went to Farmer boys in Hemet, off of Sanderson. I ordered a Vegi wrap. Did not look appetizing, at all? Almost paid $7 for this. They gave me pretty lettuce, the kind they use for garnish, a slab of dressing, where's the Pickle, The Tomato and Onions??? Barely any onions and a skinny piece of meat. Like wow! Never again. I was totally disappointed today. I simply ordered zucchini and it was terrible. Overcooked, breading all over the bag less on zucchini. It was barely warm. I'm so very weary of getting bad food lately, I've never had this problem with farmer boys until now. Twice in a row. Last time with breakfast burrito and now zucchini. The burrito was almost $12.00 and zucchini was close to $7.00. I can't afford to throw things away. Please have your manager, manage and do quality control. Hardly worth $20.00!! The food here is great, the employees are friendly, and the drive-thru is efficient. So why am I not giving them 5 stars? Because of the prices. The food at Farmer Boys is definitely expensive, and I wish that weren't the case. Keep this in mind if you decide to eat here, as it will likely cost you more than McDonald's or Carl's Jr. Other than that though, I find that Farmer Boys has wonderful food. The burgers are a good size and taste fresh. I also love that you can add smashed avocado to them, which I haven't seen at other fast food type places. The fries are pretty good too, and the fried zucchini tastes very fresh. The fried zucchini stalks are also huge, and were a lot larger than I was expecting. I've only gotten food here through the drive-thru (thanks COVID), but there's never too long of a line. The employees are also really friendly, and I'm greeted with a smile when I roll up to the window. They also won't hesitate to ask any questions you might have while ordering. So while the prices here are quite high, the food is tasty, so I still recommend coming here to eat. read more

My wife and I visited this location this morning. The service was ok. The food was also ok. My main complaint is the pricing of their menu items. I paid $13.00 for wife's breakfast, $5.99 for ala carte burger. My wife wanted coffee and I wanted soft drink. So I ordered a small coffee and a small Pepsi. That was a big mistake. The small coffee was $4.00 and the small Pepsi was also $4.00. So these 2 small drinks made up over 30% of my bill this morning. How does Farmer boys justify charging $4.00 per drink when they are fast food place. Most other fast food places charge from $1.00-$2.50 per drink. Everybody knows you can buy a 6 pack of 16.9 bottles of Pepsi for $3.48 at Walmart right next to this restaurant. Don't get me wrong. When I am at a nice sit down restaurant, I expect to pay $4.00 or more per drink, because this is a place with higher overhead costs, and certainly larger staff, so higher payroll costs. Farmer Boys is neither a sit down restaurant, nor do they have wait staff, so they have no excuse to charge $4.00 per drink. They are simply another fast food place that is overpriced. Just because you can sell a small drink for $4.00 does not mean that you should. I can see what this restaurant's prime motivation is. Let's mark up every french fry, every onion ring, every burger, every breakfast burrito, and, of course, every small drink to its maximum possible price point. Hey, Farmer boys, thanks for the economics lesson. You guys have perfected limited service food at full service prices. They have gone downhill. I am very disappointed today. First I tried their loaded fried chicken sandwich. The chicken pattie was overfried and very hard. I had to eat the sandwich in pieces. Then later in the day I ordered their fish and chips. I remembered how good the pieces of fish were. Something happened now they are flat pieces of fish heavily coated where is the fish. I've ordered the same thing from Uber Eats twice and the same mistake was made. I ordered a cobb salad with ranch dressing and a fish and fries platter with tartar sauce. They forgot to put ranch dressing on both occasions. I'm guessing because they looked at the tartar sauce inside and thought it was ranch. It's super frustrating to get a salad without dressing and Uber eats can't just go back and grab it for me and for me to drag my toddlers in the car to go grab dressing is a pain. I would have gone the second time it happened but they were closing by the time I received my order. I called the manager to let them know this was happening and she apologized but what I would really like is a salad with ranch. read more

I ordered 3 salads and a bowl of chili. Everything was good and I also good value for the cost. The salad was a good size, nice crips greens, plenty of chicken, bacon and avocado. A whole sliced egg! I really hate writing negative reviews but after having lunch at this Farmer Boys, one will understand the problems. I decided to try one of their veggie burgers with fries. The flavor of the burger was not bad at all, but the cooks need to use sliced onion on a burger NOT diced onion. This restaurant gives a senior discount and that was appreciated. I requested the fries be extra brown and crisp. What I got was something that may have been part of a potato sometime in the past, but looked pale like an uncooked fry would look. It also had been dipped in some kind of a lumpy bumpy batter. Even by attempting to bury the alleged fries under catchup they were so bad I could not eat them. They might have been used to clean the grease in the deep fryer but they were nasty tasting. I know Farmer Boys can do better. On a positive note the wait staff while busy was friendly and pleasant. The restaurant was clean and restroom ( men's) was also clean. Hopefully they can make some changes to bring the food a bit more present to eat. read more

Where do I start? Generally, hubby and I are so excited to eat at Farmer Boys, it's like a treat, the service is quick, friendly and the food is on point. We stopped at this one while helping sis-in-law with her move. We sat by the window where the drive-through is and the frustration on the faces of those customers- sorry I didn't snap some pictures. We waited for our food, for like forever, the folks in the drive-through were even more agitated than the workers inside the restaurant. When our food did arrive, it was unappetizing. Cold fries and the burgers did not satisfy, we couldn't wait to vacate the premises. Thumbs down for a yucky visit. Hoping that the poor experience we had was just a farce, we showed up, during the noon hour, a few weeks later when we returned to Hemet. Thinking that the heat of the sun, high in the sky, would somehow give us a better experience, we were proven wrong. The service was much more slower on this second visit. The guy and gal behind the counter appeared to have issues with one another and we, the customers, witnessed their unprofessional behavior and didn't like the negative vibe or stank attitude they were having with each other and us. Another poor service, yucky food and long wait at that same location and we say, 'Adios' and 'Good Riddance'. Don't waste your time or money at this Farmer Boys location. It's awful.
