The month after that, my insurance went up. I am now going through issues either my sewer drain where I know have roots growing through my pipes and major cracking which I am currently having fixed. After calling Hackenburf-Scheiber, the representative told me that it probably wouldn't be covered but he could put me with there adjuster to make sure. I asked, would this raise my insurance? He stated yes. Even if they didn't cover it, why would my insurance go up even after I fixed it. I think this company is only looking after the share holders. I even talked to my mortgage company and they even said they were to high and that I should look for another. All I know is that after I get my roof fixed, I will not be staying with this company. I feel that they only want my money and couldn't give a crap about my well being or my family.

I called State Farm initially talked with Kennedy, who then put me in touch with Becky. Both ladies were wonderful to work with and so kind and polite, no matter how many questions I had. They went out of their way to make this change easy for me. So not only do I have lower insurance for my Auto and Home. They were also able to get me lower life insurance. This This is the…read moresecond time in a year and a half that this agency has actually cost me money.. the first time there was no follow thru crediting my account and after 2 month of being charged too much and unfulfilled promises I was only given credit for one month. Several times I have left a message requesting a return call and they just dont seem to ever return a call. I have been on auto pay and on a couple.of occasions in probablly 5 yrs I've ask them to stop the auto pay for that payment and ONE day was sufficient . 6 days ago at 8 am I requested to have them hold the auto payment.. This morning at 3am I receive a notification from my bank that State farm submitted the payment and my account is now over drawn! Called the 24hour service and the agent was super kind and understanding but she wasn't authorized to do anything about it. She said she was sending them a fully detailed message and told them to call me. She said if I didn't hear from them by noon to give them a call.. At 130 pm I still hadn't heard from them so called and spoke to Justine who was rude and indifferent. Her voice was condescending and She told me I didn't request timely altho past requests only required 1 day. She asked if I did not no prior to 6 days ago that I was going to be short this month and I could tell that her by indifference that she would not bother to help the situation. I asked if I could speak to someone in charge and she responded that she was. I am not happy, and totally unsatisfied with the complacent disregard shown to me with my concerns by this office. My family has been with State farm for as long as I can remember.. and have always received stellar treatment.. I am a disabled senior citizen on a limited income. [Social security]. The bank is not a stand alone building but a part of a modern, multiuse facility. There were spots for 2-3 tellers inside and two offices for loans, accounts, and business banking. As a chain, they have branches and ATMs all over the United States which is a positive for people who live, travel, and work in multiple states. I was greeted quickly when I walked in by the teller and the branch manager. After telling them what I needed I worked with Grace, their personal banker, to set up a new account. She went over all the options for different accounts, had literature prepared I could take with me, and answered all my questions. She was organized, professional, efficient, extremely personable, and polite. It took less than 20 minutes to get everything set up. I was able to make my first deposit the same day I opened my account, set up direct deposit, and was on my way with a smile on my face from a great experience. Overall they made a great first impression on me and I look forward to being their customer in the future. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a bank in NE Indiana.

We used this brokerage service and were directed to Progressive Insurance. They not renew our…read morepolicy, because apparently we didn't return a document that needed to be signed. Mind you, after being coerced into becoming paperless, I don't pay much attention to the mail. Progressive sent us monthly payment reminders via email even though we were set up on autopay, but they apparently didn't care enough to even follow up with a call or email to let us know they hadn't received a document from us. What's even more offensive to my sensibilities is that C&O not only did nothing to follow up on this, but they also clearly were unconcerned with maintaining our business. I made a 5 minute call to State Farm, got a quote for half of what we were paying C&O/Progressive ($350/month vs. $165/month) for better coverage. We also were able to get a better renter's insurance rate. I'm not sure if C&O is motivated by commission payments through Progressive, but I would recommend avoiding both companies. I'm also filing a BBB complaint against both companies- the discrepancies in pricing are significant enough to warrant further investigation, in my opinion.
